They are really great!  They are awesome painters. They are always on time. They are incredible neat and even move the furniture. They are flexible and they are really accurate on their costs.  They do a neat and professional job.

I live on the top floor of a 6 story apartment building in manhattan. Three apartments experienced water damage to varying degrees. As a board member I was asked to get three bids. Paintworks' price was in the middle however I think being fully issured is what convinced the board members to hire them.
The Paintworks scheduler, Paige did a stupendous job of scheduling the work and following up with all the residents who needed the service. She was calm, consistent and always professional. On the day of the job, the workers arrived promptly at 9am to prep the space with  'cardboard' like floor protection and plastic for the walls. They were not only meticulous but fast. There was a smidgeon of dirt on the one of the walls when they left but not big deal. the only problem is that it was in place that was hard to reach.
My only sore spot has to do with the fact the one of my ceilings was not included in the scope of work even though it needed repair. I asked Marc Ringer, the owner of Paintworks to work with me to arrange for it to be completed but I never heard from him again. That ceiling still needs to be painted. I will probably contact Marc again because I am really very happy with the other work. But I have doubts that he will come back for such  small job.

I cannot say enough great things about Dean and Dan of Paintworks. My home came beautiful because of them. They were punctual, neat and their paint lines are flawless. Because of the spackling they did (and they had to do a lot) my walls look flawless. They came early and worked all day without a break. They took their time and made sure each room came perfect. I am going to have them paint my basement next. Besides being great painters, Dean and Dan are also great guys. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else in the future.

I called Dean in early May for an estimate to power wash and stain a deck. He came out and looked at it and called me within a day or two with the estimate. I immediately gave him the O.K. and he said he would do the job by the end of the month (May). Today, June 0, 2014, having heard nothing from him, I texted him asking if he had forgotten about me. He replied that he won't be able to do the job any time soon or at least not during this summer. No reason for not calling me to tell me of his change of heart.

Just had my entire house painted - YEAH!!! Thank you so much, Dean Mabie and brother, Dan, of PAINTWORKS for a fantastic job!! These guys were so professional, neat, clean, -accommodating and all around nice guys - I would -recommend them for any paint job you have. Walls and ceiling had to be prepped for painting. Small holes and some ceiling cracks had to be spackled. The spackling was good. Walls were given two coats of paint. The painting was very neatly done. The area was thoroughly cleaned when they were finished. They were very professional and worked all day to complete the job in four days. The rooms look wonderful and I will not hesitate to call them back when I need more painting done.

I've had painters before but noneof them compaired to Dean. He is a perfectionist and very trustworthy. He was on time and never left me hanging. He brought all the materials needed for the job. He painted all my ceilings in every room in the house. He took down wallpaper from all the walls. The walls underneath the paper had holes from previous paneling and glue on them. Dean did a fabulous job with the wallpapering and fixing the walls. I then had my outside porch painted. He is very inexpensive and very polite. I would recommend him to anyone. His price includes the paint (Benjamin Moore).
