Repair Existing Stained Glass Window Unit (8 panels) Based on the quality of work and horrible customer service skills, I question the validity of the 5 Star reviews on the contractor's listing.

Thomas fixed the problem and was very knowledgeable about the job.

Thomas was very professional, and knowledgeable in repairing my 100 y.o. glass panel. He not only fixed what I explained needed to be repaired ; he corrected a prior persons work to restore the window properly.

I liked the work of this company and will hire again. Mention 2 complaints here for their improvement: 1) wish they are more careful so as to not break when taking out the existing glass 2) provide a more reliable schedule for completion instead of having to wait a long time.

While installing window glass he ripped a hole in my screen. He took it with him to get it fixed and he never brought it back. He stopped answering my text messages. Now i have no screen. Unacceptable.

They broke my stained glass window twice. First when they came back to install it and I noticed a top panel cracked and second when they claimed they were in an accident and the several pieces broke after their truck was hit. When I called to see when they were coming back with the repaired window, the guy asked me who I was and I said the man who's stained glass window you broke. He acted like he broke more than one window that week and told me he was eating and hung up on me after I expressed my frustration verbally. Was I angry, you bet I was. Long story short, they refused to complete the job and handed me back my window -(repaired with the fixed glass) but now I have to install it myself. By the way, they couldn't get the window back in when they returned it the first time. I wouldn't recommend them at all. It took so long to submit this because I wanted my response to be printable. KEEP AWAY! I see they received a few 5 star ratings, I guess I was one of the unfortunate. Too bad for me. If you enjoy gambling, then by all means do so, but I don't think they have a clue about stained glass repair.

Summary: I am so pleased with the work Tamaz of Millennium Stained Glass did to repair antique stained glass that I plan to hire him for future projects. Details: I needed help to salvage and repair 3 windows from an old garage door, create a 4th matching window. Remove and restore two full size stained glass panels. Pack all windows for use in a future project. Tamaz contacted me two days ahead of the scheduled appointment date, and was able to come same day to provide an estimate. Tamaz described clearly and in detail how he would do the work and provided a written estimate on the spot. Tamaz finished the work faster than planned (less than 1 week vs original 2-3 week estimate). Tamaz and an assistant delivered the finished pieces, showed them to me, re-packed them and helped to store them in a safe manner for a future project. It is clear that Tamaz is not only professional, but he also appreciates the beauty of stained glass and has the fine craftsmanship to match.

When high winds sent a small wooden block crashing through the picture window of our Harlem brownstone, Millenium Glass of NY was the only company to respond to our HomeAdvisor inquiry. The next day they got here on time, removed a stubborn window frame ("I'm more stubborn than the frame," said Bobby), fitted the frame with a new pane of glass, and reinstalled the window, all in less than an hour and at a reasonable rate! I would definitely call them again, and would absolutely recommend them to other homeowners/landlords. Thanks, Tamaz, for making replacing our pane so painless :-).

A little difficult to understand terms over the phone, but very fast service and easy to deal with.
