I had to call 5 different electrical contractors to do work in my co-op. I found some off of Angie's list and home advisor. I had contractors who never showed up, people who never got back to me after showing up. Some quotes were lower, and one quote was higher. At the end of the day Beshaun was on time, prepared, professional and provided a detailed estimate. He showed up fully prepared to do the work. His workers were professional. They got the job done in time as promised and cleaned up after themselves. I felt comfortable enough to leave them in my home while I was at work. I had him install 4 sets of track lights, and over head lights in 2 closets and one room that had none, along with a ceiling fan. All new wiring had to be run for everything.

I am very happy with the service of this company. They responded to my inquiry quickly and set up an appointment for the work to be done in a short time frame. The people who did the work arrived on time and did the work professionally. I would definitely call them again for other electrical work.

They came on 2/13 to do the work...the day after I phoned them. In the am before they came, I phoned their number to request that they send an email to my coops management company with their insurance and license info. This is atandard procedure in coops and I’m sure their business in Queens sees this request regularly. The woman on the phone said she had no record of the appointment that day and couldn’t help me. I had read online (I got to them through a recommendation several years old) that they had either changed owners or were contracting the work out and several were negative. They were on their way and it was a small job. The job which was successful and took 1/2 hour cost $250.00. The labor was $15000 per hour material was $45. They charged us with a straight face an extra $50.00 for the cost of emailing my management company. We argued but ultimately paid as I wanted them out of my apt. Very small minded thing to do. How to lose coop business and I’m Vice President of the board. I’m furious. Left a message for the company today but I’m not expecting to hear. DONT USE THESE FOLKS

I called and they came the next day, at the promised time. I was surprised to see that they were a crew of three electricians. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. The problem was solved in less than an hour.

They responded quickly and came in a short time. They were able to fix in 30 minutes as Sear's tech had not connected wiring correctly. Used this group before and they are skilled and professional. Highly recommend.

Great job. The guys arrived early and completed the work quickly and efficiently. They are a very professional and focused crew. I will definitely be using them again for more repairs.

Excellent. Beshaun was responsive on email, showed up on time as agreed, performed the jobs well with neat-appearing work, was fairly priced, and did not damage the home. I recommend Forest Hills Electrical Contracting, Inc and will hire them again.

Have had them come a number of times to do various electrical work. We are always very happy with their work. Today we had a couple of outlets to fix and a light fixture to be replaced. They came on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up. The fee was very reasonable. I am very happy we found them through Angie's List and will continue to use them for our building.

It went very well. Beshaun arrived on time and did his work quickly. He is very easy to communicate with and was happy to explain things to me whenever I had questions. He finished his work in an hour and I am happy with the final product. I should also note that out of the several electricians I spoke with he was the only one that did not give me a hard time about filing the proper "minor work" permit with the Department of Buildings. He also did not gouge me on his mark up for filling out and filing/pulling the permit. This was my biggest headache as I searched for an electrician. I had already dropped one electrician for gouging me on a second estimate when I found Beshaun. The permit itself cost 15 bucks, but some electricians tried to charge me as much as 250, stating that "the 235 dollar mark up was a reasonable office cost" or simply "that's our policy". Keep your search simple. If you want a reasonably priced and professional electrician I would suggest you give Forest Hills Electrical Contracting Inc a call. The next time I need electrical work done I will be calling them. No question.

They did what they said they would and have been up and running ever since.

I interviews/received estimates from a few different electricians and Beshaun from Forest Hills Electrical was by far the best. Where to begin...he explained everything in a manner in which I could understand, then itemized the estimate so that I could make an educated decision of what I could/couldn't afford, and he was extremely responsive and professional. His bid was fair and his workmanship was exceptional. All other electricians didn't want to break into the plaster walls to embed the wiring and they were determined to install wire moulding (which I definitely didn't want), but Beshaun was able/willing to snake the wiring inside the walls and did a great job patching all holes. Other electricians said that they wouldn't patch the holes and said that I needed to hire a separate contractor to patch/plaster. Beshaun did an impeccable job, he finished on time and was fair and honest with his pricing. I would definitely recommend him and will be using Forest Hills Electrical for any future electrical work I may need.

Love these guys. This is the 3rd or 4th time they have come to our building. They are prompt, professional and very neat. They came on time and started to work right away. When replacing the outlets it was dusty and they cleaned it up. For the over head lighting they put down a drop cloth. One of the overhead fixtures had very old wiring and instead of just fixing it without asking they explained my options and I feel safer now.

No problems. Prompt response to initial call and called when running a bit late to appointment because of rain. Workers were polite and friendly and finished the job quickly.

They were decent but I keep having problems. The bulbs keep going out on them. I do not have a garage just parking spaces so I had them put bulbs out there and in the back yard. I do not have any problems since they are motion detector lights and I have not blown any lights but since they put them in it has blown 3 times. I ma very unhappy with that portion of that. I have called to tell them and they told me it was the bulbs. You know what I have used the same bulbs in the backyard and I have not had to replace them at all. It blows out like every other month. I should not have the problem with the bulbs going out. I would say you need to ask a lot of questions and ask them if they warranty their work and will they come an repair and fix it if any problems, no matter what it is. Then get detail on what it is they are responsible for when they leave. When they tell me its the bulb but I am using the bulb in other places I am thinking it is a short or something. The bulbs are expensive and I don't think I should have to keep replacing them. The bulbs are like $10 each, what am I suppose to go to home depot ever two months to replace them. That is unacceptable.  I thought it was a good price. No matter how good the price is, if I am still having problems then it is not a good price. They did come and replace the bulbs once for me. They did come when they said they would and came on time. They sounded like they knew what they were doing and explained a lot of things to me the best they could.

Everything works great. They are the consummate professionals who explained everything they were doing when installing the lighting and did it well. Also, they cleaned up after they did the work. Other Jackson Heights residents should use this company for all their lighting needs.

Beshaun is very responsive and professional. He brought two men with him and they worked efficiently. Everything went as promised. I was very pleased.

My coop apartment needed extensive electrical updates. I got 3 estimates. As we reviewed the work I needed, the guys from 
Forest Hills Electrical Contracting made helpful suggestions that saved me time and money. Their bid was not the lowest or the highest, but they provided a timely estimate at a fair price. And I liked them the best, if intuition counts for anything. The guys were prompt, friendly and very professional. They did the whole job in 3 days. All the work was very well executed and they didn't leave a mess. All holes were patched and my walls and ceilings were left intact. The other bidders charged extra for patching. They were very responsive to my requests and took pains to ensure the work was done to my liking. (It was!) For example, the recessed lighting was installed with a dimmer switch, but I thought the lights didn't dim enough. So they replaced it with a different dimmer and now I can dim it all the way down. I give this team high marks. I would use them again without hesitation, and I highly recommend Forest Hills Electrical Contracting.
