The job went fantastic. We are new home-owners, and Rich Sapienza is honest, easy to work with and very helpful and informative. We werent sure what needed to be done, and I was pleased with his honesty and experience. I never once felt I was being talked down to, or cheated. He did an amazing job and we are very happy with the work done. As far as I'm concerned, he is our electrician from this day forward.

Emailed Sapienza Electric on Sunday 3/3i0/14 at 7:08 AM about short circuit problem. Rich Sapienza returned call about 1 hour later and made appointment to be at my house later in the afternoon. He arrived as promised in a little over an hour corrected involved/complex short circuit and also replaced 1 outlet which was in bad condition.

Mr. Rich Sapienza first of all was one of about six to seven electricians I contacted after seeing their names and reviews on Angie's List. When he came to give me an estimate, he was on time. He came and looked at my wiring and made a recommendation of what was required to install a portable generator I had just bought. He told me that one of the equipment I needed was a generator transfer switch, which, he said, would cost about $300. I had the option of buying the transfer switch mysefl, he added. Since I had researched the equipment, I agreed to buy it myself. Lo and behold, the price was about what he had said: $301!
He then gave me an estimate of the cost of his labour. It was fair and way below the other estimates I had received. After my eqipment arrived, we set an appoint on when he would come and install the generator. He came in time and did the job very professionally. He is polite, patient and honest. Not for him, the habit of pushing home owners to pay for service or equipment they do not need.
I would very strongly recommend him for his fair pricing and honesty!

Before checking Angies list I had called several other companies. I was amazed at the difference in prices to get some one to look at my problem. One guy wanted $245.00 + any parts an hour, another $150.00. I went to the list to check on each of them. The first guy wasn't even on there, the 2nd was listed, but no comments. I had already had Sapienza Electric down as one I was going to call, so I checked their listing. Seeing 3 positive comments I called them up and got a fast responce. He said he would be here in about an hour, and the service charge was $95.00. He also explained that he would only be checking the electric into the A/C unit and does not do any work inside the unit. One hour and five minutes later Rich Sapienza showed up at my door and we proceeded up into the attic to see what could be done. It being around 85 degrees outside, the attic had to be over 100. As soon as we got up there sweat was pouring down our faces. Rich proceeded to examine the unit and discovered that one wire had shorted out. He went down to his truck, got enough wire to run a new one, and 20 minutes later my A/C unit was pumping nice cool air into the house. When I was writing out the check he said make it for $90.00 I wasn't here that long.I have had any number of trades people into my house over the years and this was the most pleasant experience with any of them. Rich was not only professional in his work, but friendly and honest. I would recommend him to everyone. When I have any electric work to be done Sapienza Electric is my new go to guy!
