We are Certified Relocation & Transition Specialists. Helping the young and old with their packing, move management, resettlement, liquidation, and clean out needs. We are truly a full service company. Caring Transitions of Long Island employs numerous employees that are insured and must pass a background check. We require a deposit at the time of contract and then will work with you for the remaining payments. An escrow payment option may be available if the current home is in contract.

I think the overall cost of the service CT performed was very reasonable. I should note that I did a lot of work myself cleaning out two attics and the basement before I even hired CT, so the bill for the cleanout could have been quite a bit higher. But I also had them pack a pretty large amount of stuff for the movers, which represented the larger part of the final bill. Note what I paid CT included packing, but not the moving itself - I have to pay the moving company separately.
Although it's almost unbearable and unavoidable for surviving family members to have to sift through a loved one's possessions, Rosemarie and CT make it easier. I would have gladly hired Rosemarie to help my mother move had she survived, as CT also does a lot of work helping folks downsize out of their houses as they make that transition late in life. Even if you're not moving, or don't plan to move anytime soon, everyone has too much stuff. The first step to getting rid of it is calling Rosemarie. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
