"Ontario County is not in our service area. At the initial contact I inform the customer that Ontario County is out of service area and encourage the homeowner to contact someone in their service area. But when the customer would still like us to look at their problems, I will set an appointment for a free consultation. We encourage the home owner to obtain other estimates from other basement waterproofing companies. But unless you are a reputable Basement Waterproofing Company and not a (different kind of Specialty Company) comparing estimates that are for the exacted work would be difficult. You obviously would obtain solutions and pricing differences. As for the prices for our services when they are not in our service area, we inform the customer that we will have to charge to accommodate for the travel, hauling of debris, and in this case would have to included hotel rooms for our employees. As for the reason of a lower price, it was at the customer request for alteration to the original proposal. At the second request from the home owner to give a price reduction, I offered an option of debris being removed from the property or being left on site which would of lead to a change in price. I hope the customer had a great experience with whomever they chose. This was just an estimate, no obligation to either party."
