Mike Embleton came himself on time for the original estimate and measurements, insured we knew what we were getting, and worked with us to get a mutual date for flooring installation, a date that he adhered to. He and his partner/assistant Gil were courteous, friendly and totally professional. They cleaned up as much as possible the first two late afternoons after arriving by 0730 each morning and did an excellent job cleaning up all debris before leaving the afternoon of the third and final day of installation. Mike is evidently a subcontractor from an installation contractor for Floor Decor and I would recommend him heartily and without reservation.

Everything went well. Called me back promptly. Kept appointment for estimating and start of job. Everything went well. High quality job at a fair price.

Mike was very respectful and courteous unfortunately he never came to the job. I was told it was a two day job, but since they were behind with their other jobs they rushed through mine. They were very messy dust layered all over the window sills,radiators and molding. No regard was shown to my furniture ...scratched my floor and took a nice chunk out of door jamb and my dresser. They had to remove two pieces of oak molding enabling them to do a repair, putting them back they split the wood in six places. I was very upset and was told.. that's what happens sometimes and there was nothing they could do....they even put two nails through the molding into my bathroom pocket door. They were even nice enough to leave me all their garbage. I definitely would never use this company again and never recommend them to anyone else.

He was great. I remember thinking it was a good price. I don't think they could have done anything about it. The stain splashed up on the trim. They left their garbage there, so that was not good.

Extremely satisfied from start to finish. Installers were highly skilled, courteous & efficient. The entire job was done in a timely fashion, with minimal disruption. Michael Embleton was a pleasure to work with.

Superb job!  The estimator that Michael sent was knowledgable and provided us with an accurate list of needed materials, which I purchased and had delivered in advance. Michael has a two-person team of technicians who are knowledgable, skilled and careful . . . both are very professional and respectful . . working consistently throughout the two days . . no wasted time; systematic about the removal as well as about the installation; they had to disassemble and move a very large bedroom set, and then reassemble after the flooring installation, which was likewise done thoughtfully and carefully. Totally professional job!  Glad to have hired them for this project. Am considering using them for additional work.

Mike showed up when he said he would for the estimate and for the work. He and his crew were always respectful. The job went exactly as they said it would, no surprises. They made my 50 year old living room floor look like new. Had to leave the house for a couple of days but it was worth it. House was a little dusty afterward but nothing to complain about.

Mr. Embleton and his crew were courteous and professional.  They did a wonderful job installing the floor and the room looks great. He charged a fair price for the job and I would recommend him for wood flooring installation.

Michael was very accomodating to our schedule, the job was done in 5 days which is what we thought it would take. We paid 50% up front and he waited for me to return from my trip overseas, and checked the work to send the reminder of the money.
They were very clean, and the house was kept broomed clean. Though they did not take the rug to dispose of it, I thought it was a good job. I am renovating the house in the fall , so I was looking for a clean and polish quick job,
I would certainly consider using their services in the future.

was not happy with the  finished job. They used 2 different polyurethanes for the finish and it came out where parts of the floor were gloss and parts were flat. Apparently, they ran out of one finish and decided to use whatever they had available. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

I am writing a reference for Mike Embleton of Embleton Flooring.

As I write this on a Sunday afternoon, Mike is busy applying the final coat of urethane on the new oak floor that he and his crew installed.  He is doing this for my wife and me so that the job will be done before Christmas.  He has personally been here twice in the evening and today, Sunday.  How many contractors will do that for a customer?   The job entailed integrating 700 square feet of new oak flooring with 500 square feet of existing flooring in my 40-year old house and you can?t tell where the old floor ended and the new begins.  We had taken tile flooring out of a hallway, landing and kitchen and Mike and his guys matched the existing flooring in the living room and dining room of the house seamlessly with the new.

We have all seen contractors who often fail to appear when promised and who fall short of our expectations for a decent job.  Mike is not one of those.  He is an extremely pleasant gentleman who takes pride in his work as do his employees.  It says a lot for a company when the employees have worked there for as long a time as have Eric, Dave, Clark and Rich.

Mike is also very reasonable with his pricing.  We paid a fair charge, especially considering the amount of work involved ? today is the seventh consecutive day they have been here and I couldn?t be happier that they?re getting the job done for us in time for the holidays.

From start to finish they were complete professionals.  I was nervous about having work done and was referred to this company by a local flooring supply store.  I could not be happier with my floors and the experience.  They were professional, on time and always ready to answer any questions i had.  I have projects that will need to be completed in the future and will absolutely be calling them back!
