Top of the Line Property Maintenance

Overall Performance - Poor No return service. Does not return phone calls Service Provider appears to have 2 other business names: aka Top of the Line Paving; aka Benjamin Baranowski Event as Transpired: Our across the street neighbor was getting a new driveway installed. (Our driveway had some holes and and cracks and we had considered getting it repaired.) The foreman of neighbor's project came over and stated that since he would be doing the work at my neighbor's, would we want them to repair/fill our driveway holes and cracks and apply sealcoat to driveway. He stated if we had this service performed it would add another 5 years to our driveway. I checked with neighbor how she found this provider and it sounded like she had performed due diligence. went onto Angie's list and it didn't appear that there were any reports, so we agreed to the service recommended. We were not at home when service was performed but neighbor was home. I left personal check to pay the provider with neighbor. When returned home, work was reviewed and it was poor. They scraped out the driveway holes and cracks; three of the larger holes were filled with asphalt but asphalt filler was not leveled and now there are bumps in the driveway and we are concerned that the snow plow will catch the bumps and pull out the filling. The smaller holes and cracks were filled with nothing but driveway sealant. Driveway sealant was sloppily applied and is on both the house siding (new) and house concrete foundation. As time goes on the driveway cracks have enlarged and weed(s) are already starting to grow through. In addition, my next door neighbor complained that the workers had thrown the grass edging from my driveway onto her garden on her prized cactus plant and they had also put our water hose on her property/garden. Immediately called company. Spoke to foreman, he stated he did not supervise our project stated he was sorry for the impact on neighbor and that they would return to correct job within 72 hours. Provider never returned. Does not answer repeated telephone calls. Cashed check immediately.
