 + -1 moreVery professional, very mindful of the neighbors, and overall it doesn't even look like the old dilapidated house that sat there for years. Very nice men who care about the work they do, not many contractors like them around anymore unfortunately.

Description of Work: Built a back deck and staircase in spring of 2004. About a month later the deck boards began popping up because they used inferior screws. When I called them about it and they argued with me. The joists were under sized for the span. The deck boards had to be replaced within a couple years because the wood quality was so bad. The staircase had to be redone as well because it was very wobbly and badly built.

 + -1 moreI reside out of state and had arranged to meet Starrbuilt (Joe) who came recommended from my realtor. He walked me around the home and assessed what would be priorities to repair or replace in order to sell the house. With selling in mind he suggested materials to use to keep it cost effective and attractive . He replaced a bathroom, which had water damage, replaced baseboards and reinstalled the heaters, repainted ceilings and walls. Joe and his workers were able to work on my time frame of when I was in town and I soon realized that they could work without my presence. They were competent to handle anything that arose from painting to plumbing without having to use subcontractors. His workers were on time everyday and worked at the house while I was out of state. They were clean, organized and professional. Upon my return, everything was completed and to my satisfaction. Joe and his workers were detailed oriented and I did not have to ask them to redo anything. Done right the first time.
Description of Work: Replaced a bathroom, kitchen floor, porch floor, repainted ceilings and walls, replaced baseboard heaters and baseboards. Added a GFI breaker and recarpeted stairs to prepare for the house to be sold.
