We talked to a lot of AC installers, but JDJ Comfort Systems came up with the best solution for our 1970s 2 story home with baseboard heating. The came when they said and got it installed in the time that they said they would (1 week). Very professional and courteous.

We contacted JDJ Comfort Systems (a small family-owned business) and four other HVAC companies for estimates. Only JDJ gave us a reasonable estimate, quickly. The representative who came to our house, arrived on time, was courteous and worked through problems other companies could not solve (our house was built in 1842 and installing a central air conditioning system without impacting the historical integrity was challenging, but JDJ figured it out). The proposal arrived within days. The company provided three options, all using state of the art equipment. They provided brochures describing the equipment they use, and were available to answer our questions. The installation process was completely professional. They did the work in May, when other companies refused to install the air handler in the attic. The workmanship was excellent, The workers were courteous, and exceptionally neat. For example, as holes were being drilled in the ceilings to install vents, a worker was there with a broom and dust pan to clean up the saw dust. The entire job was completed in five day, with minimal disturbance to us. The system they installed is superb - quick to cool and remove humidity, quiet, and it has not raised our electric bill by even a nickel. Once, we thought the system wasn't coming on (it turned out that the computer controlling the system was running a system check) and we called the service department. They explained what was happening and told us to let them know if the system didn't come on and they'd come over to check it out. Of course, the system came on before we hung up. We couldn't be happier with our central air conditioning system, especially as the number of hot, humid days has been increasing. We have recommended JDJ Comfort Systems to several of our friends and relatives. They are a great company to work with.

I liked that they sent me a quote quickly and the technician was very nice. They offered paying with a credit card with zero interest for the first year which really helped me out. Everyone else needed cash or 50% up front. I was able to finance the entire furnace. This was a big help right before the holidays. The furnace is nice and quite and seems very efficient. Love the new thermostat that was also installed. Very easy to use and keeps my house and cozy.

Of the 4 estimates that I received, theirs was the most comprehensive and clear. They were attentive to every need and concern and went out of their way to make certain that I was satisfied with their work.

I waited to send this review to make sure we were 100% satisfied with JDJ. Andy James of JDJ worked with us closely on our project to convert an oil burning boiler providing radiator heat and hot water over to a Natural Gas fired furnace - installed with regular duct work, an electric water heater and Central Air Conditioning. He also arranged to have our left over oil donated, old boiler and oil tank removed with no problems! We are warm in winter and cool in summer and very happy.

Work completed promptly for a fair price. Very satisfied!

Very responsive, professional and knowledgeable company. They do what they say they'll do. Its only a week since my central A/C was installed but I think they'll be just as good on customer service after the sale as they were before.
