Description of Work: I took my clock out Which I had for about twenty years to cuckoo nest for repairs because the clock was stopping. The owner to my clock in and had it for several weeks. Was contacted by owner and said it was repaired. Picked up the clock and brought it home, rehanging it on the wall. About a week after repair I heard something fall inside clock and it stopped. I took it back, and again brought it home again only to have it stop within a week. Contacted Cuckoo Nest and was advised the movement was worn out and that he would not be able to get new movement for clock because it was really not a true Regulator clock. It hung on my wall for another ten years being correct with the time without running. Then I found out about |Tom's clock Repair and took the clock to him. See Toms Clock Repair for update.

 + -1 moreHe is doing great work. He is the only one in the county that does this type of work. He does clock repair and restoration. He doesn't do watch repair. He impressed me with his work so I imagine he will do right by the product. He is a very nice and personable gentleman. We caught him on route somewhere else. He was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done. It is not time for it to be done yet. I did not compare his prices.
Description of Work: I am using Cuckoo Nest to repair an old mantel clock.
