ask for his work experience, let him tell you what he has completed. Ask about a warranty.

It was complete job. He took the old one down hauled it away and rebuilt a new one. I would highly recommend him. He showed up when he said he would. Completed the job within the estimate. Also he was competent, friendly and easy to contact.
