The one positive thing I can say is that the owner, Joseph Pinckney is a very honest businessman which was nice to experience. As with any job, there is bound to be some negatives, not knowing what will be encountered, and this job was no exception. The negatives involved taking two weeks to complete, when it was quoted to be completed in two days. To be fair, we did have some rain that interfered with the work, but it did not rain for two weeks. The workers were very polite and friendly, and were very hard workers, but they were definitely understaffed. An extra one or maybe two men would have been helpful to complete the job. There was very much work to do. I also purchased bamboo barrier at a cost of nearly $700 that was never used because the ground was too soft and moist. So now I am stuck with 300 feet of this material. I guess I can always sell it on Craig's List. Overall, the job eventually was finished, and although it was frustrating at times, it was completed somewhat nicely. Looks good. They specialize mostly in tree work it seems, but from a bamboo removal service they tried their best and ultimately completed. Just pay out as they complete the job and pay more at the end of the job to be certain it's completed, as with any contractor. I recommend Joe, Vinny, and Alvin.
Description of Work: Removed Bamboo under driveway and various sections of lawn, then top soiled, graded, and re-seeded area. This was a job that needed to be completed due to change in law for the town of Brookhaven requiring removal of bamboo from my property to eliminate or contain bamboo. We opted to remove all the bamboo.
