This work was done in two different bathrooms besides the attic. The estimate that was presented was for the downstairs bathroom (one of 2 that were rennovated) and once the walls were opened in the upstairs bathroom, another price was to be given for any work required. Without consulting us, Jeff spent 2 1/2 hours "rewiring" 2 outlets and 3 light switches and when he was done, presented us with a bill for $450 above the original estimate for the one bathroom as agreed. When I complained that I had no idea that we were being charged over and above what was agreed to for the first bathroom, he just told me again that he spent a lot of time and the price was what it was. I was furious, and vowed never to use him again. Any charges over and above what was agreed to should have been approved by me first. I wanted him out of my house and paid him. When I complained to my contractor who recommended him, he told the contractor he would refund $200 but only gave back $100.
Description of Work: Hook up electric for Jacuzzi tub, rewire GFI outlet, replace 3 high hats, change 6 light switches, install fan with high hat, install attic cooling cone.
