They just dumped it in the driveway and drove away. I called and they picked up the phone. It was pretty cut and dry. There's not much more to say about them.

They were great, from design through implementation.

Brian is very knowledgeable and experienced. When I first called, he made an appointment to come take a look at what was to be done. I went to London Landscape location where Brian showed me a large selection of shade-tolerant plants as these are on the north side of my house while he took notes of the ones I liked. He called a couple of days later and had a layout sketch and proposal. It looked so much better than I'd imagined, so we went ahead with the plan.
On 6 September at 8:45 am Frank and two men showed up with trucks. They added waterproof material around the inside of the brick flower box, top soil, and transplanted the astilbe from the ground to the box. They removed the overgrown evergreens and took care not to damage the sprinkler solenoids and lines under one tree. In the process of preparing the ground, they saved the daffodil bulbs for replanting.
They replaced the rotted landscaping ties at the curb on the east side of the driveway, and pinned them in place.
They added topsoil along the (new) sidewalk where the concrete forms had been removed.
Once the ground was ready, they set out the plants (in plastic pots) for visual effect. We made one change from Brian's sketch and it was a and quot;goand quot;. They dug holes, put the plants in, Frank made sure it was to his liking. They planted some of the daffodil bulbs creatively arranged in bunches. They added mulch to the entire planting. Frank arranged a (waterproof) gravel trough for the downspout. A great touch!
There was enough mulch left over that they were able to mulch the bed on the east side of the garage, saving me the bother of doing it later. Then they didn't have to load the left over mulch back on the truck.
Once they were done with the plants and mulch, Frank watered everything in, and they cleaned up everything. They left around 3:40 pm.

Our landscaping was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. We had worked with Brian of London Landscaping 10 years ago and he did a good job then. Also, over the intervening years, I would call for some issue and Brian would always pick up the call or call back promptly even if it a a small issue.
Brian did all the design. We walked around his nursery and picked planting we liked or didn't like. Brian then put it all in a plan. His crew came when promised and did a great job. Planting were installed and look great. They are a very professional company.

First meeting was very informative; we talked in great detail about pricing and installation. My wife and I had talked to 2 other contractors, but Brian seem to be the best. I felt confident that he would be the one to get the job done.
Second meeting was about the start date for the installation of the sod.
The day of installation, Brian and help came at time proposed. The work was done in a timely manner.
Last meeting was to collect the money for services performed.

. Brian, the owner and designer, designed the waterfall so that it would fit both my needs and my budget. Frank, the construction supervisor, really knows his trade. The finished project far exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about the design and workmanship that went into the project. The placement of rocks and plantings, and the sound of the water gently splashing over the rocks ,create an absolutely beautiful and serene setting. On top of all this, it was completed in a single day. Thanks again guys for a job well done.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY HAD GREAT IDEAS. THEY WERE ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS REALLY GOOD FOR THE QUALITY OF WORK THEY DID.
