I was hesitant to go to a new repair shop after going to the car dealer for over 10 years. Everything was straight forward and to the point. I described the problem and left the car at the shop. Got a call back saying I needed a new converter which was order. I called in the next week and was told the converter came in and my car was ready the same day. Price is very fair and felt comfortable with everything. I would go back for future repairs and service. If anyone is looking for a auto shop, I recommend trying this one.

They are my mechanic now and they are fabulous. They are courteous and honorable. They do the job and you don't have to go back 10 times. They give you a price quote and that's it and they fix it. I can't say enough good things about them, they're wonderful.

It is running great. This had also happened a few years ago. A co-worker was getting rid of his car because his transmission was failing. He had gotten a few estimates of over $2000, so he decided to junk it. I asked him if I could buy it for our daughter. He gave it to me for free. I brought it to Dominick and he added the transmission leak fluid. My daughter had that car for three years without a problem!

I dropped my car off Friday afternoon and received a call Saturday morning to say it was repaired and the oil change and inspection were done. It's a pleasure to be told the problem was fixed and to actually have it fixed! I have found my mechanic for life!

It was good. They replaced the fuel injector and spark plugs. They didn't over charge me and other places wanted to charge a diagnostic fee just to look at it. This company got it done for less than the other places were charging just to look at it. I would recommend them.

There were noises in my 2003 Hyundai. I'd had it for only 8 months and the shop from which I'd bought it said it needed a new fuel
pump for $700. I decided to get a second opinion. Got Dominick's from Angie's List and will be with them forever!! Dominick actually listened to me when I described the noises that were coming from my car, and kept searching until he found the cause. I brought it in at 4pm, explained what I was hearing and he gave me an estimate of up to $200. I left it with him; he drove it and continued working on it the next day. He called me that afternoon and said that they finally found the cause - too much vacuum was being allowed into one of the hoses and that's why there were noises in my gas tank! - and fixed it. The final cost, including tax, was less than his estimate! The noises are gone! Thank you, Dominick, and all those who work there with you. You are a gem and a real find!

I asked Dominick's Auto Repair to check a loud annoying squeak that I believed was caused by faulty belt tension. They reported back to me that the sound was due to a wobbly bearing in the water pump system. They were able to diagnose a problem that had been plaguing me for 6 months - my other repair shop could not figure out what was causing the noise after 4 visits to the shop. The problem had arisen when the other shop had replaced the water pump, along with a number of other repairs, so I took it back to them because the pump was still under warranty.

The problem was solved because Dominick's technicians had promptly found the source of the problem. They only charged $15 for looking at the car, and then about $40 for an oil change and fluid check.Very prompt, courteous and I definitely will use them again.

One of their mechanics even drove me to the train station, and on the way, gave me further advice about maintaining my 10-year old van.

As usual the work was performed in a timely and professional manner. It is not this latest visit that has prompted me to comment.. My family and I have been bringing our cars to Dominicks for close to twenty years. Over that period we have not had a single problem with any of the work that was performed. Dominick and Phil are master mechanics as are the other mechanics working there. I could not recommend them more highly for their honesty, professionalism and the qualityof work that they perform. Knowing Dominick as long as I have is like having a mechanic in the family.

He is terrific. He does good work. He is honest and his prices are fare. He is a very nice guy as well.

He is a very honest man. If I go some place to get my tires rotated and they tell me that I need brakes and other things done, so I say thank you very much for your help. I go down to Dominick’s and tell him that and he will check them out and tell me that maybe the car needs two more oil changes before I get the brakes done. The other guys who work there are nice, courteous and helpful. Unless it is something crazy, I have never had to bring it back with a problem from what he did. It usually is a one day turnover, unless it is something big.

Our family has been using Dominick's for years and found them to be honest, knowledgeable and do quality work we would highly recommend them for repairs, oil changes, inspections, etc and they don't rip you off.

They fix only what the problem is. If you tell them that you need something that is all they do. They don t try to rip you off. Sometimes I wish they would look into other things though before the problem occurs, but overall they are very good and honest so I am happy with that.
