Roosevelt Roofing & Sheet Metal Works

Decided to ask this company for gutter and then roof help after finding out they had the same owners as Universal Windows. Univ Windows provided me with a fair price and quality product that matched my house and neighborhood, and the install guys had good work ethic, cared about what they did, explained some things to me as they went - I asked if the rest of the company shared the same attitude, and they said yes - so I rolled with it and wasn't disappointed! Roosevelt roofing looked at my gutters, pointed out the problem, part of which was related to my roof, which was repaired 2 years ago by another company, but already had water under it (turns out that company cut corners on my grandmother when she owned this house). They were professional and tactful about the other company's work, but I could tell they were concerned and really cared about me just taking over the house and the roof being done right so it would last me for years to come. While they were here, they discovered a couple more problems, talked to me about them first, then did extra repairs on the spot to help me out. Key things: these guys didn't mind that I wanted to go up on the roof with them (during the assessment) to see exactly what they were talking about, they took before and after pictures (definitely my house, not someone else's!) and also took pictures of the unexpected roof damage they found (so I knew it was real and actually sent it to a contractor friend who agreed with their interpretation and repair). The thing I would advise is, as a smart and responsible home owner, to pull out the contract the day they do the job and use it as a checklist to make sure everything is done - the installers do so many jobs in a week, they rely on what's listed in that work order to get each job right.

The work was poorly done and incomplete.
They left holes in our roof and refused to come back to fix them. The pushed one of our skylights in and claimed that they were not responsible for the damage. After spending $7000 for a new roof, we then had to pay someone else to come finish the roof and fix the skylight. Despite what they say, Roosevelt Roofing does not stand behind their work. Once you pay them, you will never see them again. Buyer Beware.

The contractor arrived on time and went right to work.  It was one of the hottest days of the year and they had called to ask whether the team could start very early as to avoid too much sun.  They completed the work and carted away all the materials.

The job went wonderfully, the owner Joe was always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. Returned my calls quickly and explained everything before during and after the completion of the job. The workers that did the roof, siding and windows were always polite and also answered all questions. The job was completed quickly and debris was always cleaned and removed daily. Today it is very difficult to find reliable people so finding Roosevelt, Joe and his crew was a score! Love my home and would highly recommend them for all the jobs I had done by them!

They were so quick and so efficient! They were polite, respectful and cleaned up very nicely. I get so many compliments on my home now. The owner Joe would always return my calls promptly and everyone on staff was very professional and respectful. I would HIGHLY  recommend them. It is very difficult today to find responsible companies. I was so glad to find Roosevelt, Joe and his crew! It was a score!

Roosevelt Roofing is very efficient and works quickly. They were easy to work with and talk to. They made the whole reroofing process very pleasant and easy for me. I would recommend them to anyone else looking for a roofer.

I have an issue with a leak coming from my outside balcony and was looking for a roofer or general contractor to help correct the issue. I spoke to a receptionist, explained my situation and she said someone will call me back. I'm still waiting for the call...

The guy showed up in a truck that had some other name on it.

It went fine. I have used them for many years and their performance was as normal.

They went up on the roof and took pictures. I asked for an estimate for some coding and possibly tar work. They said they would be in touch for an estimate. Once I received it, I noticed it didn't include the extension I specified in the front or back. I asked for a revised quote, but was never provided with it. I still haven't heard back regarding my project.

I had a leak in the roof and they came took a look at it and I also went up on the roof and looked at it. We found that I needed new paper put down on the roof because it hadn’t been done for a long time. They did the work in a day and the guy that was in charge was fine. I was upset with the person that threw some old bottles and I let them know, because I specifically told them not to do anything like that. The supervisor came and apologized, but the roof was fine. They were recommended to me years ago when I had a leak on my roof, so I decided to use them. I called them and they came out the next day and their pricing also seemed reasonable.

We live in a very small community. It is a historical preservation area. We have a slate tile roof. They are tough to handle so you have t find someone that really knows what they are doing. I have mixed feelings. He has been here several times; once putting up a window through the slate roof to the attic. I get along fine with him. He just did some repairs on my roof. The job went very well. He told me about these things that hold back the snow. I told him to put a few up around the doorway. When he finished the job, of course it was on the roof I can’t check it, I checked it out in the winter. What I discovered, what the dummy did, was he put it up on the rest of the roof and not around the doorway. I told him about it and he went up and fixed it but he charged me for it. I figured what the heck it did the work but it was his mistake.

I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES THAT ROOFELT PROVIDED. A FRIEND WENT ON TOP OF THE ROOF AND SAID THERE WERE SOME SHINGLES MISSING. MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING AND I HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE OUT TO COMPLETE THE ROOF.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH ROOSEVELT ROOFING BECAUSE THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED. MY OLD ROOF USED TO LEAK AND NOW WITH THE NEW ONE, EVERYTHING IS TOTALLY DRY AND SAFE.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MY LOCAL ROOFING COMPANY TO ANY CLOSE RELATIVE OR FRIEND. THE WORKERS ARE PRECISE IN THEIR WORK, AND CARING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. MY HUSBAND WAS SURPRISED AT THE HARD WORK THEY PERFORMED IN A BRIEF AMOUNT OF TIME.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND MY ROOF NO LONGER LEAKS. THE REPRESENTATIVES CLEANED ALL THE DEBRIS FROM THE OLD ROOFING AND HAULED IT AWAY. THERE WAS NOT A SCRAP LEFT IN THE YARD WHICH WAS NICE.

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF FINDING THE LEAK AND THE PROBLEM THAT TWO OTHER COMPANIES WERE UNABLE TO FIND. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THEIR JOB.

I LIKE THIS COMPANY FOR SEVERAL REASONS, AFTER THEY PUT ON MY ROOF THERE WAS A SMALL LEAK BUT THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY AND GOT IT FIXED. YOU MAY ASK WHY I LIKE THEM AND THAT'S BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY DID AN EXTRAORDINARY JOB. MY ROOF NO LONGER LEAKS AND THE REPRESENTATIVES CLEANED ALL MATERIAL OUT OF MY YARD. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE FOR THE JOB THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.
