+ 0 moreThe on site crew was talented, efficient, courteous, and professional. They were helpful and understanding of the fact that we have a 2 year old during construction, and also were very courteous to my wife who works from home. The site manager was knowledgeable and very professional. He was accessible and very easy to work with. The specialists who worked on site were also excellent. The results are spectacular. I never expected an 80 year old room could look so new and clean. PCC handled all of our requests and installed everything to perfection. We used a mix of vendors for the finishes and the results are seamless. I also want to note that the team came in on Christmas Eve to help finish some details so we could use the new bathroom the next day while hosting for the holiday. I really appreciated that they would come in on the holiday to meet our request to be ready on the 25th. I'm sure that the site manager and owner had plenty of family obligations, but they made time for us too. Their professionalism and reliability got Platinum Carpentry and Construction over the top to the straight A review here. I highly recommend reaching out to them for work on co-ops and any other kind of property.
Description of Work: Platinum Carpentry and Construction completed a job to fully renovate our bathroom. The job was done in a building opened in 1936 that had several renovations in place dating back to the 1950s and 1970s. Platinum demolished down to the studs, leveled the floor and rebuilt the walls. They tiled, painted, and installed all the new finishes. The scope included full demolition, rebuilding of the walls and floor, re-glazing the tub, working with the building super to improve plumbing, and installing all the tile and finishes. PCC provided all the construction materials except finishes, which made the job a lot easier to scope and plan for. The crew handled all details of the job. The work was done in a Manhattan Co-Op with limited access and building rules. PCC was able to immediately satisfy the board and management company requirements for insurance and licensing and also met all the on site requirements. This additional level of difficulty was no problem for the company.
