Price was reasonable, they showed up when they said they would, and job was done right. New roof looks great. I attempted to deal with several other roofers before I found Jewett Brothers on Angie's List. Two of them said they were coming to do an estimate and never showed. None of them returned calls despite my leaving numerous voice messages and sending emails. Mike was always easy to contact and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Very satisfied with Jewett Brothers and would definitely recommend them.

They were prompt, did good work and cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable. The work was done as per the contract.

Contracted in early July, so concerned when job didn't begin until November. By the time it was finished, the workers had snow and cold to contend with. Overall, though, everyone was efficient and courteous, and the finished product looks very nice. Grounds were left in good shape when everyone was gone.

Came early and worked thru the day and picked up after done.

It went very well. The work replacing the blown-off edge pans was done in early December under bad weather conditions, and they completed the job promptly. My only complaint was nails left on the lawn below the jobs, but they made an effort to get them all. It takes a lot of time to be thorough.

We first looked at existing home to determine the best type of shingles for our roof.
We then asked for recommendations from the neighbors about roofers. Most neighbors had bad experiences.
Next we tried Angies list and found five(5) roofers.
We gave each roofer a list of specs and asked for a estimate. Some roofers helped us in improving our specs.
We received four estimates and one verbal estimate who would not submit a written version.
The four estimates were $5200.00, $7,750.00, $8,260.00 and $12,540.00. The lowest estimate wanted $3,200.00 up front.
All others wanted to be paid at completion. All had insurance but we had to ask to see the coverage
We picked Joseph Jewett Home Improvement at the mid range after looking at their work sites..
They were experts at installing all the materials and kept the job site very clean.
I would certainly recommend them. We were very satisfied with their workmanship.
