We had an $18000 estimate for a new roof from a national company, when we called Cotrone Construction. Cotrone not only replaced the roof with a really high quality product, but also replaced all the roof sheathing on the front of the house (which was not included in the other estimate). Cotrone Construction arrived at 7:00 am and were gone from our property by 4:30 pm. A excellent job and an excellent experience. We recommend them! Bob and Jeanne Baum

This was a pleasant experience.  Steve Cotrone, the owner is very professional.  All my phone calls were returned and questions answered. The work took two days and each day he and his crew showed up at the specified time and got right to work.  All the debris was carted away promptly and there was no mess.  Also, everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and easy to deal with.  I would rate this a very good experience and my flat roof looks great!

The Cotrone brothers and their crew arrived promptly at 7:00 AM every morning and worked a full day. They discovered even more trouble spots than we initially knew of, including locations where the wall and foundation did not align properly creating significant rot in a (fortunately) non-structural wall. Other surprises included finding that the older wooden siding on the garage portion had no sheathing underneath (the sheathing was interior to the garage.) Steve Cotrone recommended that since the garage siding was not rotting, we use it as the sheathing (it was smooth vertical slats) instead of going to the expense of removing wood and replacing it with other wood. As a result (and despite extras like making a new plaque for the house numbers since the old ones would no longer fit in their original location) the job came in at exactly the estimated cost.
I should comment that because of the odd angles of our house, architectural challenges abound. In particular, multiple windows have flat bottom edges and angled top edges. Furthermore, some of these custom windows are directly above standard rectangular windows. Because of the lintels associated with vinyl siding, these presented geometrical challenges in making a nice appearance. However, looking at the work, you would never even notice these challenges since Cotrone managed to make them look perfect, as though they had always been that way and were always intended to be that way.
They cleaned up completely after the job and left behind extra roofing and siding shingles. Since the completion of the job, not only have our friends commented on how wonderful the house looks, but even passersby from the neighborhood have passed on their compliments.
This past week was the first week with intense rain storms since the job was completed. We have no leaks!

Steve was great to deal with. Always returned calls promptly, always completely professional in every aspect of the job. He did some extra things I had asked of him and even some that I didn't ask. He never gave me a hard time about anything. He was aslo very patient when I had to delay the job near the end because of another contractor. I am so pleased with the work that Cotrone Construction performed on my house. I would certainly tell anyone who asked how happy I was with this company. They were great !!

We got as far as the written estimate. Even though I could have talked further about the overall price, I was under pressure to get the job done, so went the easiest route with the third estimate. In all honesty, all three seemed very trustworthy and capable. The last estimate just happened to be a better price at the get-go.

The workers were EXCELLENT! They showed up when they said they would, promptly at 7:30 am. They worked quietly, no blaring radios, no yelling. They obviously liked what they did for a living and it showed. They took pride in their work and were clean, efficient, thorough. We hardly knew they were there. They did EXACTLY what they said they would do and when they said it would be done. We were so thrilled to work with such professionals. Steve, the owner and his brother and two other men were outstanding. They took a short break for lunch, then were back on the job. Two outdoor lights were accidentally broken, and they replaced everything. We were so lucky to have this company do the work. The original quotes for prices ranged from $12,000 up to $20,000 for the same job. Steve Cotrone came recommended by a neighbor, so we went with that recommendation. We're so glad we did. Other neighbors in the area asked for their business card to have work done as well...we highly recommend.

Cotrone Construction did a first class job in every way. No blue tarps were used to protect the home. Each day was completed by installing tar paper on those portions of the roof that had not been newly shingled to protect the residence in case of rain. Each day all debris was completely disposed of and the job site was left broom clean. They worked every day without any delays. The company owner personally worked on this job and supervised his crew. They completed the job in a timely manner and left no debris whatsoever. I would not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend them.

THE PRODUCTS USED TO SEAL AND REPAIR THE DAMAGED PART OF MY ROOF ARE GOOD. THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THE REPAIRED SECTION OF MY ROOF LOOKS SMOOTH, AND THERE ARE NO FURTHER LEAKS.
