I am property manager for a small realty firm in Manhattan. I have worked with Halbro Electric Corporation for over fifteen years. Tom, Ian, Owen, Patrick, Lorna at reception. Halbro does careful, flawless work, large contracts, competitively bid, or small problems. If they say they will be there, something needing immediate attention, they will be there. Halbro takes pride in doing things correctly, to code, but at the same time in the most efficient, most economical way possible. In NYC you sometimes inherit management responsibility for infrastructure that is outdated and perhaps was never up to standard. Halbro talks you through problems. If something must be corrected, they will tell you. They have never pushed unnecessary work. They do, as I said, give great attention to code and building safety. A quality firm. The electricians were all good and the pricing was very fair. They allowed us to purchase most of the materials ourselves to keep cost down.The administrative assistant however was not easy to work with and added a lot of time to the project. She couldn't answer questions and didn't have email so the insurance certificate and copy of the license all had to be sent by regular mail.

We have had excellent experience with Halbro: their professionalism in evaluation of work needed, their competitive pricing, often significantly below other bids, and their attention to electrical code. Tom has on more than one occasion pointed out to us work that did not meet code when it was first put in some fifteen or twenty years ago and - not because of greater price, he is working to fixed proposal - how the replacement needs to be handled. Halbro has my highest recommendation.

The best part of the experience was the responsiveness and friendly customer service once on site. The job took no time at all and the serviceman was extremely friendly and helpful. I would use this company again though selectively choose, considering the cost, what I decided for them to do for me. Overall A+ experience.

I THINK THIS COMPANY IS VERY GOOD. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THEM. WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY REGULARLY AND I THINK THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE AND I WON'T HIRE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE OF THEIR PRICE. THEY WERE VERY SLOW IN RETURNING MY PHONE CALL AND THE GUY WAS LATE ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT.
