Buyer Beware! Taconic advertises in places like Town & Country, but the quality of their work is more suitable for readers of the Ikea catalogue. They claim to do the highest end work possible. The only thing high end about them is their bill. We have a house with a lot of problems that another general contractor is going to have to fix. If you use Taconic you will be paying top dollar, but you'll get medium-grade work- and 1001 headaches. Taconic is A+ at making excuses and dodging responsibility. Do yourself a favor: do not hire Taconic.
