From beginning to end, Charlie and his team were super easy to work with. We needed a new roof and 3 giant skylights installed. They also put in new sheet rock, taped and painted around the new skylight interiors for a seamless look. Skylights had to be special ordered because of their giant size. But Charlie made it all happen within a couple weeks of the initial estimate. Actual work took 2-3 days. One day for roof. 2 follow-up days to spackle and paint. Both Charlie and his team were on time and super responsive. Only reason for the B-grade on punctuality is because they sometimes showed up EARLIER than expected - nothing to complain about, really, when it comes to contractors. Price was competitive on average. Easy to deal with. Left the place clean. Would definitely use again.

I had first discovered RSG when a microburst caused a tree to fall on our garage roof, and we needed to replace it. In their infinite wisdom, our insurance company would only pay for half the roof to be replaced (a stupid idea, but that belongs in another review) and we were not expecting this sudden financial hit. We called several local roofers, and the cost was alarming. Finally, I spotted a commercial for RSG and called. Charlie came out to check it out the next day, answered every question I had, and gave me an estimate that beat every other roofer we had called. What I also liked about Charlie is that he never patronized me or made me feel ignorant for my lack of roofing and insurance knowledge, unlike other providers. Other providers switched their attitude when my husband arrived, which I dislike. Charlie treated us both with respect, and never patronized me because I am a female.
Charlie also helped us navigate through the insurance process, which was a great help, since we had never submitted a claim before this. The garage roof was replaced quickly, efficiently, and quietly, and it took less time than Charlie estimated - a nice surprise.  Therefore, RSG was the only choice to replace our house roof when it started leaking. Again, I knew Charlie's price runs a good 25% less than his competitors, and the quality is simply unmatched. We have had some ferocious weather since he completed the job (again, finishing a day early) and a blizzard. There are no words to describe the feeling of security of knowing that your roof is not going to spring a leak. Charlie is an honorable person, who is also compassionate and kind, as evidenced by his treatment of our (I have to be honest here) super-pesky, but beloved rescue mutt. I can't even really describe the work crew because they were so quiet and considerate that I barely noticed they were there. My house looks great, is snug and sound, and I am so grateful to Charlie! Thank you for contributing to my peace of mind! I recommend RSG to everyone.

Communication was great. Charlie was always accessible via phone or email and addressed any questions or concerns. The work was done in a timely matter. Our decks look great! We are very pleased with the work that was done.

The overall experience with RSG (Charlie) was great.  We got three quotes and RSG came slightly below the others.  The crew arrived on time and did a great job installing the roof even though the weather (snow) did not want to cooperate.  Throughout the process Charlie kept me updated on their progress and made sure I was happy with the result.
Using the high-end slate-like shingles was worth every penny - the roof is beautiful and now I can rest easy knowing snow and rain will no longer plague the house.

as they finished the roof charlie continuously asked to get additional money then disappeared prior to installing new copper gutter system. He does not answer phone, email or text. commencing legal action. Total disaster.

He seemed to know what he was talking about so he worked on the roof. Shortly after the job was completed we experienced another leak. He advised that we needed to allow a longer period of time to allow the sealant to set. The rest of the roof was fine but the one area did need another treatment. So far so good! He also gave me a 5 year guarantee with the service, so I'm pleased.
