I am not sure how these people have such a good rating on here. They did basic lawn maintenance for us this last summer, which was fine. When I asked about adding weed treatment, I was told they would, but they never did, and our planting areas were always full of weeds. This last fall, I came home from work several times to find that our little decorative fence around a planting area had been ripped out when they were there, and they didn't bother to replace it. Another time my herb garden in a pot had been completely flipped over and was left there upside down. I had to throw it away because everything was so crushed. When I emailed the office contact there to complain about it, no one responded. When I eventually called and emailed to cancel service, I could never reach anyone, and no one ever responded. I don't know what happened, it was strange. The lawn maintenance people seemed to totally stop caring how they left our yard looking, and the office staff didn't care about responding to customers.

I met with Ron Viti in the spring and found him extremely likable, and his prices reasonable, so I contracted with him to provide the services described.  I found him via Angie's List, which I feel obligates me  to report on my experience.   At the time Ron came to my house, we discussed what the lawn needed (fungal treatments to be started in June and performed over the summer).  That was the first and last time I ever saw Ron.  We spoke via phone maybe 1 or two times after I called, and that was it.  The lack of communication was a big factor in my dissatisfaction.  The guys who came to perform weekly maintenance were great -- and tried hard to please, however since I was always at work when they came, I wasn't able to discuss areas that needed to be addressed with them more than a couple of times.  My phone calls to the office were seldom if ever returned.  The promised fungal treatments did not occur and the lawn didn't look so great by the end of the summer.  The guys went ahead and treated the lawn for grubs and cinch bugs, which was not discussed with or wanted by me and did not solve the problem.  They did a good job of keeping the driveway weed-free, but there were so many herbicides and toxins used to achieve this, that I found it hard to enjoy my yard.  Biggest complaints -- they trimmed by rose bushes with electric hedge trimmers!!  I couldn't even believe this.  They also used the weed whacker in the flower bed.  I emphasized that I did not want any edging done, yet each week it.  I was extremely frustrated by never being able to reach, speak to or see the head person and there was little or no coordination with the guys doing the work and the office.  Lastly, when they came out to reseed the lawn in the fall, they put down top soil that must have been taken from a construction site -- quality was poor and it was full of gravel.  This was the final straw and I cancelled the service.

Update: After 2 years the construction grade soil they left is still causing lawn problems.  I have to buy new top soil annually.

They were very good. They worked on their own and made the property look much better.

The sprinkler system was installed by the previous owner of our house. It was installed by Ron Vitti. Every Spring they come and turn the system on as well as make sure it's in working order. They are in and out without much fuss. If they discover something is broken, they fix it right away.
If something breaks during the spring/summer/fall, they come fairly quickly and fix it. They never over-charge.
It's been 7 years now and we're very pleased to continue having Ron Vitti maintain our sprinkler system.

They are excellent; they are very good. We pay them about $5,000 per year. They are very dependable and they come when they say they are going to come. We've had to call them a few times regarding responsiveness.

Took a couple tries to get an estimate, but all went smoothly from there

He had done masonry on our driveway with intricate stone work (separate pricing) that is fabulous. He does ongoing landscaping care and maintenance for us.

I have had all positive experience. They come every week on the same day at about the same time. They do a good job and work quickly, so they are not here for too long. They are polite and friendly. My lawn looks good.
