We had used this company, whose president is John Poniros, for a smaller job in the past, but our neighbor had used him and was very pleased with his work. We liked what he had done for us, so we hired him to do our work last spring. John is smart, his crew is nice, and the workmanship is good. What I particularly liked was the ease in communicating with John and his ability to troubleshoot the problems that always occur in a construction job. He is a thinker and an idea person, and that is very much appreciated. And if a subcontractor does something wrong - like the poor floor refinishing in the new space - John made sure that he came back and redid the work at a time that was convenient to us. 
Our relationship continues. He has come back to fix some small things and some large ones - like redoing our basement when it got flooded during the hard rains around Labor Day of 2011. And he is working with us to install a generator in our house so that we can avoid the flooding in the future!
