Although the woman who answers the phone is quite pleasant and the workers are in my development once or twice a week, the owners never assigned workers estimate or complete to my project. A minimum of 16 phone calls were placed. A voicemail from the woman in the office on March 25th said that the work would be completed that week (even though I hadn't been given an estimate yet). Follow up phone calls throughout April and May because of work not being estimated or begun, were useless. The woman was apologetic but I did not need an apology. I needed the trees which were about to fall over staked. Finally, I hired another landscaper. He came and estimated the job within 2 days. Unfortunately since this was now June, he was in the middle of jobs but at least he was honest. He said he'd try to get to me in June but most likely it would be July. The Monday after 4th of July he was here. Job done in an hour. I wouldn't recommend Borello to anyone and hope very much that my development does not renew their contract next year. For the amount of money the Home Owner's Association pays Borello monthly, the company should treat the home owners (the ultimate HOA billpayers) with a little more respect. For that matter, they should treat any client with more professionalism.
