Nassau Plumbing & Sewer Rooter

I called in the morning regarding a clogged drain.  The clog involved more than one drain but was not the main sewer line.  When I called initially, the company representative did not know when he could get someone here.  About a minute later after he checked he told me he could have someone here shortly.  Within 5 minutes Anthony was here.  Within 20 minutes our problem was solved.  He even cleaned out some containers we were using to catch the water without me asking him to do that.  I thought they were prompt, professional and I also thought the price was fair.  I would absolutely use them again and I would recommend them.  Great first experience.

THE WORST!  Horrible service.  Missed 4 appointments to do emergency repair.  Did nearly $3000 in damages and company won't speak to me about it or provide insurance information.  Had to spend 1 week researching to find out their correct names, addresses and license number.

First, i called another company whose ad indicated that they would unclog a sewer for $49 to $99.  They tried with a snake, said it didn't work, and that I need a jet washing.  Instead of a low price, the jet wash was offered to me for $1800.  The company also said my sewer line was probably broken and told me they could recommend a company to excavate my line, if necessary.   I told them I needed a second opinion, even after the company came down to $600 for the jet wash.

I then called Nassau County Sewer and Rooter.  Jimmy from the company came--five minutes earlier than schedule, had the clog unclogged in a little over an hour, spent a lot of time talking to me about sewer systems, including saying there was nothing unusual about my clog.  Told me my system was not broken and that the clog was beyond my property--somewhere under the street where my sewer line meets up with the town's.  He indicated that if it happened again, I should call the town because the town may well be responsible. 

The price was $300 as quoted by Jimmy when he came to my house.  I wish I had called Nassau County Sewer first.  I wouldn't call any company--and there are lots==that say they can do it for $49.  They just want to get in the door and then offer some unnecessary service at an exorbitant price.

Overall, using them twice, I would use them again. I think the service is expensive, but I don't have anyone else to compare them to. I would recommend them and use them again. They were overall punctual and professional.

Nassau County Sewer Rooter came within 30 minutes of my call. Their service person, Chris, was very friendly and professional. He cleared the line and we were back in working order in about an hour. He took time to explain the cause of the blockage and said that the work was gauranteed.

Most companies won t offer a senior citizen discount for work they will do for you, but this company does. They are very professional and even though the prices out there are very expensive, they seemed to be a lot less than their competition. I will use them again.
