Assisi Veterinary Hospital is a full service, state of the art facility offering high quality care for all of your pet's needs. With our fully licensed, caring and compassionate staff, we will care for your pet as if it were our own. Veterinarians on staff - Dr. Ricarlos Guzman, Dr. Jackson Chen, Dr. Erinn Mackey, we also have 4 license veterinary technician, 4 veterinary technician assistant that assist the veterinarians, 5 kennel persons that care for your pets while boarding and 7 receptionist that are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer any of your questions. If you are looking to groom your pet our groomer is wonderful and willing to talk to the clients about special hair cuts and other services that she offers. They do an excellent job and are very caring. Great remarks and reviews for them, they have even performed surgery that saved my dog's life! They have an absolutely clean and spotless place with updated technology that is outsanding with a great staff.

They were very good. I would use them again...my only problem is that they are high priced comparatively. If I can afford to...I will use them despite that. I lost my cat but they were compassionate and professional and I was happy with how my boy was handled there.

They have been very good! Unfortunately, since I'm living on a fixed income and money is very very tight, I find them to be expensive.

When I called Assisi, I got an appointment for later in the week. The staff is friendly and professional. The groomer did a great job on my dog. She is an elderly animal and therefore needs special care. Instead of waiting in a kennel cage, she was taken care of promptly and was allowed to sit withe receptionist until I returned to take her home. A great experience for me and my dog all around!

I was very happy. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that everyone there loves animals. My puppy wasn't nervous at all! I liked that the front desk staff is happy to email any information you request. I am really glad I found such a great office close to home!

My Yorkshire terrier has multiple health problems so we see the veterinarian quite often. One thing I must say is my dog is not afraid to go to the vet; she actually takes me there for her "treat."
I switched to Assisi form another animal hospital because she wasn't getting the care she needed. At Assisi, the staff is very attentive, friendly and my dog never shakes from fear (and she has had to have MANY tests done there).
I recommend Assisi and the veterinarians and technicians and staff for pet care.

It was a stressful surgery for Mandie. She spent first night at the Vet and a Vet tech,Catherine, stayed with her as the first 24 hours post op she need to be observed for respiratory problems. She kept me posted throughout the night and even sent me a picture of Mandie resting. Dr Pacchiana called me immediately postop to go over her surgery and Dr Guzman called at 9 pm to let me know how she was doing. These calls helped relieve my worry. She came home the next day with strict instructions as to feeding and rest. Dr Guzman and Dr. Chen were great as she had a few issues, nothing major but caused me to be concerned, and they were quick to answer my call or see her if necessary. I am very glad I chose to have her surgery at her own Vet and not go to LI Veterinary Specialists, I am sure they are great but it was better to have Mandie close to home and in an office where everyone knew her and love her! Maria, Janet, Kathy, Patty and Nicole are great as are the Vet techs and I am sorry I don't remember all your names. This was not an inexpensive procedure but I would do it again as even though Mandie is 12 she is full of life and not doing it and having her go into respiratory distress was a terrible option. 3 weeks post op she is doing well, eating and sometimes indicating play with my sons 5 y/o husky which I have to curtail for now. My only concern is that she will not drink water from her bowl, but is getting it in her food. Dr Guzman and Chen assure me she will drink eventually.
I would like to thank the doctors and staff for their care of Mandie and their patience with me, this was stressful for both of us!

The care my cats received at Assisi was really top notch, I cannot recommend this vet highly enough! The doctors and entire staff at Assisi are clearly pet-lovers and all seemed to genuinely care about the well-being of my cats. The doctors were very responsive and did a very good job of informing me of any issues with my cats' health and the available treatment options, and helped guide me through the tough decisions I had to make when old age had finally taken its toll. On top of that, the facilities are very nice, it was easy to get in on a moment's notice (and sometimes no notice at all), I seldom had to wait for any length of time, and they were flexible about product returns for my finicky cats. My great experience with Assisi was a stark contrast to another vet I tried in the area, and I will definitely use Assisi again when I am ready to have another pet.

The doggie is fine now after one week. Doctor Guzman the first night call us two times to let us know how she was doing. Then we schedule a follow up appointment after one week, and every thing is ok . After this emergency, we took the decision to change our Vet for the last six years, to Dr. Guzman and Assisi Veterinary Hospital. That is because the doctor and all office staff, are the most compassionate people in the world. Thank you very much to all from Al, Patty and Melissa.

My 10 year old Cavalier King Charles spaniel needed to have his teeth cleaned and some extracted. Each one of staff members are friendly and cheerful, especially at the reception desk. Both Dr Guzman and Dr Chen are both knowledgable and caring. They are also very responsive when you call them with any issue.... We have been to at least 3 other vets in the area since we have our dogs, and Assisi is definitely the best one around.....

We have been taking Chloe to Assisi Veterinary Hospital for years now. Chloe has had a few health problems which required surgery and after care. We have always been very pleased with the results of her treatment. Drs Guzman and Chen are very knowledgeable and caring. They have always been very good to Chloe and to us. The vet techs are very good with all the animals and especially with Chloe. They are never too busy to give hugs and to pet her to make her feel comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are also great. I have never had a bad experience with anyone at this office. I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants great vet care for their pets.
