PUTNAM WINDOW TINT

Superbly well, on time, great price, professional and perfect job.

Everything looked great at first until one of my wood door insert fell off a few weeks later. It appeared they broke the bracket, did not mention it and used cheap glue to try to fix it. At first it looked like they would replace the broken part but they just gave me the runaround. The part was supposed to be there, then it wasn't, then I was supposed to come back then it still wasn't there, and that kept on going until I got tired of it. I guess they changed their mind when they saw the cost of the Audi part. I am sure they have some quality people working there but they gave my car to a greenhorn and did not step up to the situation to make things right.

Overall experience was below a rating of poor. I had made an appointment over 6 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. When making the appointment, I explained to the employee taking the appointment that I would be traveling 90 minutes to bring the car in for tinting. As a result, I requested an appointment that would be the first morning appointment available on a Saturday. I was originally given a date of 4/20 at 9am. I received a phone call from the merchant on 4/17 stating that they were understaffed for a large job that came in and subsequently they would have to cancel my appointment. They were apologetic and I understood. We agreed to reschedule the appointment for 5/4 at 9am, same terms.
5/4 rolls around. I have a friend follow me to the store and we arrive at 8:50am. 9am, the car is handed over to Putnam Window Tints and we both confirm that the car will be ready by 12:30pm (3.5 hours to complete the job). We kill some time and head back to the shop at 12:30pm to find that the car is right where we left it in the morning and the work had not been completed.
I raised my concern with one of the workers in the garage, as well as with Jimmy, the proprietor. Their response was, and quot;I'm sorry, but we got busy and had people waiting for their cars.and quot; In the appointment book, my name was written down for 9am, and in red capital letters it said and quot;customer will wait and needs car done first thing in the morning.and quot; Additionally, this was confirmed the morning services were supposed to be rendered.
This left a very sour taste in my mouth - I have brought all of my cars, friends cars, and family's cars to Putnam and never had an experience like this. When sharing this experience with my trainer, I came to learn that he had the same situation a few years back when he brought his car there for the last time.
I received no further contact or attempt to make this better, hence the full disclosure review for Angie's list. Putnam has lost my business, and all referrals in my network. It is unfortunate that they are not able to manage expectations more diligently.

It went well took them less than 2 hours to do the job.

Went well. Dropped off car and picked up 8.5 hrs later. Am told work is guarenteed, so that is a plus.

IT WAS VERY QUICK, AND NEAT. THEY MADE A SLIGHT ERROR, BUT QUICKLY CORRECTED IT.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH PUTNAM WINDOW TINTING WAS GREAT. THE CAR WAS DONE WHEN THEY PROMISED. THERE WERE NO AIR BUBBLES IN THE TINT. THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE LOCAL LAWS INVOLVING WINDOW TINT.
