I called this survey company on 1/27/2017 and spoke to Mr. Roland Link, surveyor and told him what I wanted done. I signed a contract and emailed it to Mr. Link. The contract stated that surveying would be done within two weeks. After I emailed the contract and all documentation needed I was contacted by Mr. Link and told he was going on the vacation until 2/13/17 but upon his return he would call me and set up the appointment for the survey. Theweek of 2/13/2017 but received no call. I waited ten days and I received no call from Mr. Link nor the other two surveyors working in his office (his sons) nor his office representative. On February 23, 2017 emailed Mr. Link since he had told me not to contact the office, he preferred email. I asked him why he had not called me for the appointment. He stated he had been busy doing other things but I "had always been on his mind". He then told me he could not come to do the survey until February 28, 2017. I asked him to confirm this appointment which he did. He told me he was only going to measure the boundaries at this appointment and would mark the boundaries another time. On Monday, February 27, he emailed me that he could not do my survey on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 because he had something else to do and he wanted me to wait until Thursday, March 2, 2017 which would be 34 days since the signing of the contract. I emailed him back that I was very dissatisfied with this cancellation after I had waited already 32 days and had decided to cancel the contract which stated survey work would be done within two weeks . I can not understand how a surveyor can be so unprofessional! He is not reliable and is unprofessional! He was disrespectful to me since he did not call me as he stated he when he returned vacation February 13, and I had to email him to find out why. This should have been a red flag , but I gave him another chance and he contacted me and cancelled the February 28, appointment on February 27. When I emailed him of my decision to cancel the contract , he emailed me back that we had been so close to doing the survey. He then talked about how originally I had gotten a survey proposal from his company two years ago which was only an estimate and not a contract as this was! His price for surveying and marking are much higher than other survey companies I had contacted, $1475.00 for land surveying and $500 for setting 6 property markers. I was only having markers set on one side of house. I have asphalt and he stated he would use nails. He only has 3 reviews which were favorable, but the highest land surveying price was $900, the most recent was January 2016. He should have been honest from the start and he should have told me he was not available and he should not have entered into a contract. He told me he did not want his sons to do the survey, that he wanted to do it himself. How long does it take to measure the boundaries, this is not an estate, but a city residence, three family, 3750 sq. ft. ? He wasted my valuable time and I spent a lot of time emailing him copies of photos, and other documentation needed so he would not have to do further research . This is not about missing an appointment, but about continual failure to perform contracted work! I would not recommend that anyone use this surveying company !

Called them up, they gave us a good price and did the job to the real estate attorneys specifications. I had very little contact with them after the initial contact since the attorney took care of everything. Nice and smooth transations. We are pleased, espciatlly since the recomended company the attorney gave us was at least $300 more. Felt like we got a good deal.

Our main contact through the entire job was Erik J. Link. Everything was on time, as promised, and very professional. In doing the survey and reviewing our Deed, Erik found a small potential problem in the future sale of the property. In my talks with the Town, this was totally cleared up. Erik not only pointed out the problem, but prepared all of the proper survey paperwork for the Town and delivered it personally to the proper Town office. I must point out that not One Dollar was added to the survey cost even though this was not known at the start of the job.



All throughout the job, Erik showed a vast knowledge of the area and of our property's history. Obviously much research was put into this project.



It is one thing for a contractor to come and do a job and quite another for a problem to come up and be handled with professionalism, patience, and at the same price as quoted originally! This is a mark of a really fine contractor who takes pride in his work and produces a truly fine product. I was surprised only in that this company has not been listed on Angie's List and hope that this will provide everyone with a truly fine company that I recommend with no reservation.
