 + 1 moreHis prices are excellent and his work is perfect. He thinks of ways to save you money. He will tell you where to buy the supplies from. So, he cuts your cost down. When he comes to do any project, he does everything carefully and gives you all the alternatives. He has so much experience that he can come up with very creative solutions that aren?t expensive. Dean has also done work for a person who I work for and that?s how I know him. He has doubled the size of one of their houses with a new kitchen and all of the other things. Everybody here knows that he is the most creative guy that they have ever worked with. He also can see how everything is going to fit together. He is not only a contractor, but a designer. He can design a kitchen for you. He has those capabilities, but doesn?t charge those kinds of prices. I would definitely use his services in the future too.
Description of Work: I used the services of Lakeview Contracting & Home Improvement on May 11th. Dean Yorio is the contractor I have dealt with. A building at Franklin Street in Manhattan has a river running underneath it. It used to be a part of the old canal back in the colonial times. Because it’s so close to the surface, the pit of our elevator shaft which is actually below the basement level protrudes into that stream when the stream rises when we have a lot of rain. So, we have to pump that out. The cement in that pit has started to corrode since the building is more than 100 years old. So it actually fell into the sump pump and clogged up the pipes. So, Dean went in with hydraulic cement which is made to set even under water. He dug out the current sump pump and put in a new deeper sump pump. Then he re-cemented the whole floor with hydraulic cement. He also let a secondary back-up pump into that sump as well to pump the water out into the storm drain on the street.
