Couldn't be happier with the service we've been receiving from Great Bear Septic over the years. They are professional, take the time to answer our questions, and are unfailingly cheerful. They are a pleasure to work with. When we first purchased our home ten years ago, we had Earthcare take a look at our system. They tried to talk us into a $20,000+ replacement of our system. Something didn't seem quite right, so on the recommendation of friends, we reached out to Great Bear. Ten years later, with regular pumping from Great Bear, system still works great. In addition to all their other fine qualities, the team at Great Bear is trustworthy! Could not ask for more.

I contacted Great Bear through Angie's List and they were very responsive. Calling them to set an appointment was a little bit more difficult - but maybe because I called early. I called again and got through and made an appointment. Due to a backup in appointments, they were unable to come the first time around, but said they would come the next morning. They came on time then and discounted the rate since they were unable to make it the previous day. I wasn't there in person, but my husband dealt with Mike the owner and said he was friendly, professional and put the dirt with grass back over the hole (which the previous septic company we dealt with had not even tried to fix). Will definitely hire again in the future.

Seamless process and great service. After doing my research, I left a voicemail and Mike called me back the next day to provide a price quote and set up an appointment for a few days later (the next available opening). On the day of service, Mike was very communicative in terms of anticipated arrival time based on how prior jobs that day were proceeding. Once they arrived, the service was performed quickly without any surprises. Mike happily took the coupon I'd printed from Angie's list, and took the time to answer my questions about system performance, recommended servicing schedule, etc. All in all, a job well done. I'll be using Mike's services again when needed and have no qualms about recommending Great Bear to others.

We arranged to receive the payment later and completed your services in a thorough and complete manner on September 18, 2015 according to our records you were charged our standard fee (for your area) $270.00 for pumping, $30.00 for digging and $25.12 in Tax we made arrangements with you 2 weeks later at your convenience to get payment. I do not believe that we broke anything on your property, although I have had our Customer Service representative - Wanda leave you a message, please call her back and we can arrange an inspection of the broken light. The Owner of our Company is the one that performed your services and went above and beyond in digging your tank out extensively as the job required without charging additional labor. Mike knew exactly what he was doing. Very careful not to drop the cement cover into the old-fashioned septic tank! Recommend highly. Professional, neat, efficient and punctual. In and out in a couple of hours. Cannot ask for more.
