 + -1 moreI no longer have any ponding in the back yard and my basement is dry. The owner was very professional, took the time to answer all of my questions and even came in under budget. I would highly recommend Transitions Landscape & Design and I plan to use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Transitions Landscape & Design 1095 Quaker Rd, Macedon, NY 14502 recently completed some excavation to address some major drainage issues in my back yard. I had ponding in the backyard and water pouring into my basement last winter and spring. I had received quotes from many contractors with various solutions that ranged from $4000 to over $10,000. Transitions recommendations saved me over $6000 and expensive foundation work that wasn't necessary.

 + -1 moreVery difficult to work with, arrogant and unresponsive to customer requirements. Feels his "expertise" trumps customer concerns and input every time. Yet over mulched around trees raising soil level and causing the formation of "strangling roots" which later had to be carefully cut and trimmed to save trees.
Description of Work: Landscape service contract and new work involving tree removal and planting of new trees, mulching and bed maintenance.

 + 0 moreIt took a little longer than we had hoped it would but he was very knowledgeable and we trusted what he was doing. They sent us a contract for about $400 but he did not think that it was that much so he said he would send us a bill.
Description of Work: He dug out the whole area where a sink hole had been and found out that it was a dry well that was no longer functioning. He dug it all out and cleaned out the area and filled it back in and he brought in extra top soil and graded the area, then reseeded.
