We are a certified woman owned business with the State of New York and also certified to perform lead abatement. Shane Schumann is a licensed electrician. We have been in business since 1993 and are members of the Better Business Bureau and Better Contractors Bureau.

I worked with Schumann Construction in 2017-2018 on a garage rebuild and driveway project. As a single woman homeowner, navigating the world of home improvements can be daunting and intimidating, particularly of a project of this size and cost. Shane was there EVERY step of the way. He listened and responded to my needs and concerns. He advocated for me when other contractors were not following-through on their promises. He got me new garage doors at a discount and went above and beyond to make sure he installed garage door openers, even though the project didn't call for either of those things, and still kept it under budget! He even responded to text messages from me on Sundays! I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, compassion and follow-through of Schumann Construction. I'd recommend them for the job in a heartbeat!

Company is prompt, accurate, courteous and clean, and handled every step with complete professionalism. I was surprised at how pleasant the experience was. They fixed unforeseen problems along the way (rafter not meeting top beam, for instance) at minimal charge. Very nice group, all the way around.
