I  have no complaints. Jim arrived every day that he said he would at the appointed time. He even made sure that he scheduled the electrical sub for days that he would also be onsite. He is onsite every day and does all of the carpentry himself His work is just beautiful. I have had experience with several contractors over the years, Jim is the only one that I have used myself of seen the work of that is just as skillful with the finish carpentry as he is with the framing.
The first time that I used Jim was a couple of years ago. He built a lakefront cottage for a neighbor of mine upstate. It was beautiful. This is where I saw that he could frame and finish. He doesn't rely on caulk to cover up poor workmanship. Anyway,I was impressed with his work and so had him build a new covered  deck on my cottage. It is just great. Best built deck on the lake. When it came time to do my kitchen here on L.I. I called Jim. 
That job came out great. Intricate crown molding  with many inside and outside miters.
I see the workmanship on other recent  kitchen remodels. Some are as good but most are not. Even high priced jobs. My only regret is that I should have done the kitchen years ago.
