The deck repair unfinished. He took apart the deck and discovered that it would need to be replaced, and called me and told me that he was not comfortable doing this work, and that he could put in stairs or I could get someone else. Deck is half deconstructed, wood frame only with six feet of steps to my back door, very dangerous condition. When I asked for my deposit back he was not forthcoming. I agreed to pay him $500 for his work in taking apart deck and examining it, but I have yet to recieve my $1000 deposit back.
