Carefree Air

Excellent Pre-Sales service. AWFUL, NON-EXISTENT post sales experience. We had our system installed about 3 months ago. The pre sales service is excellent. They went out of their way to ensure that we were kept abreast of what the ETA was for installation and they answered all of our questions. The installation went off without a hitch. Last month one of the Mitsubishi units started putting out very bad odors. We called them and they sent a technician over. He was here for less than 15 minutes and he left, explaining that he could find nothing wrong and would need to have CareFree call Mistsubishi for help. That was two weeks ago and they have never called me back with an update. I have called twice and have been promised a call back which never materialised. Today they told me that they cannot do anything until Mitsubishi gets back to them, and that Mitsubishi is very busy!! So, in effect, I am sitting here with 1/3rd of my system inoperable and CareFree wont do anything to fix my problem. Please pay careful attention to the contract before you sign it. CAREFREE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They do care about your $$$

They were able to get with me very quickly and take care of my problem. They also were very reasonably priced and I was pleased with their work.

Ray Jr came over one evening a day after I submitted a request for a dealer to contact me on mitsubishi.com. He walked me through my options and left me with some literature. He was efficient and knew his product offerings well and there was no sales pitch pressure. Price seemed comparable to another quote I received. I was eligible for around $500 of lipa + mitsubishi rebates and a 30% tax credit so the total cost for 2 units including the electrician was b/w $5-6k. I was not present during the installation but I was told it took roughly 4 hours for the 2 units (one on each side of the house, both second floor). The work site was clean and nothing extra was left behind for me to clean up. The units work very quietly and are a huge improvement over window ac's. Time will tell how the electric bill fares and how well this system works in the winter for heating.

They were quick, polite, professional and thorough. They gave detailed written estimates with quotes for what was needed andwhat was recommended.

Both completed satisfactorily in one day. Tested both.

Carefree Air and Water Management really impressed me. The man came out in the sweltering heat and worked in the attic. It must have been horribly hot and stuffy up there, but he pitched right in and did the repair. We have no complaints with this company.
