My name is Michelle Boyle, and I'm the owner of Green Genies Cleaning Services. Throughout the past 15 years, It's likely you've seen me at the Honest Weight Food Coop teaching a workshop, speaking to sustainability students at UAlbany, or alongside a local farmer at the Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market. We are proud to be a "locally-grown" Capital Region business, helping our neighbors create and sustain healthy homes. Our team of trained, intelligent, green cleaning professionals treat each client's home like a sacred sanctuary; a place for you and your family to unwind, recharge and create memories. Very well. We got to know them right away and now look forward to them coming. They each handle a room and work together on the big rooms. They have state of the art cleaning machines and work at all the small and large areas with them. They arrive on time and are flexible when we have to change an appointment. Very professional.

Rushed and incomplete work, in part based upon time caps not communicated or agreed upon. See attached photos for residue, incomplete bathroom work, etc. Unacceptable and unprofessional given that the cost is agreed upon hourly (which are higher than average based upon marketed use of natural products and careful work) and blocking out of entire afternoons/days; no conversations or emails prior or during included mention of such a cap. Initial cleaning went fine, but you can find better (green) service for cheaper elsewhere in the area.

"This was [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] first maintenance visit, after he canceled his originally scheduled maintenance, leaving 5 weeks since his first service. We provided [Member Name Removed] an estimate for maintenance at the onset of service for between 4-6 man-hours. Though the team worked diligently for a total of 7 man-hours, we did underestimate the amount of buildup between visits and the time necessary for [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] maintenance services and therefore did not schedule sufficient time in order to provide the quality service which he deserves and which we pride ourselves. We did not charge [Member Name Removed] for his cleaning and followed up with his concerns immediately, we spoke with our staff and offered a significant discount for not being able to provide a complete and thorough service, and ultimately did not charge him at all for the visit. We are very sorry we were unable to meet your expectations and that we did not provide you with the experience we strive for. Michelle Boyle"

Great! I love their use of natural products, and their personnel are always very nice. Like any other house cleaners, they do miss some spots, especially underneath furniture, but they are very good about fixing all of these problems when I point it out

They're very reliable. They're thorough. The quality is very high. Some of the challenges would be the prices are also high. You get what you pay for. It's a reputable company. They're very thorough and consistent. Convenience in scheduling is not always good with them but they're willing to work around your frequency just not always your schedule. They're more expensive.

Wonderful!!! Michelle- the owner- answered my initial call promptly and scheduled my first cleaning very quickly. She is very professional and polite.Her crew arrived right on time. For the first cleaning Michelle accompanied the crew to make sure everything was done right. The entire crew was polite and worked very hard. I totally trust them in my house and after the first visit I feel totally safe leaving them alone to clean while I go out. My house is spotless and looks amazing. I have to admit that I was skeptical of the green cleaning products- was not sure if they would clean as well or smell as good as conventional cleaning products like Pinesol or Mr. Clean. However- the products work great as evidenced by my super clean house. I do miss the smell of the traditional cleaning stuff- these green products seem to have no odor at all- but I can live without the smell of Spic N Span or Lysol to have such a great and reliable company clean my house. I highly recommend Green Genies.

Michelle contacted me promptly and discussed the areas to be cleaned. She and her Team arrived at the set time, we discussed what would be done and they began immediately. Four ladies came to the house. Not only were they friendly, they came in and went right to work at cleaning the windows. They did an excellent job. All the windows were completed within a hour. I was very happy with the service. The only negative was that my appointment was for 2pm, but they came at 4pm. I was notified that they were running late by the owner around 3pm. I would definitely hire them again though.

he Green Genies has been cleaning our home every other week for approximately a year. They are a locally owned and run company. Michelle Boyle the owner is personally involved, hands on, and takes pride in her Team, their work, and her customer's satisfaction. None of Michelle's customers need be dissatisfied with any aspect of her Team's work. If so, with one call to Michelle, it has been my experience that she will personally inspect the work and see to it that everything is addressed to the customer's satisfaction

In reality, the customer must consider that the Team provides all cleaning supplies and equipment and the customer does not incur any of the usual costs of purchasing these items. Michelle is insured, bonded, and a legitimate business and as a customer, one does get what they pay for. .
Our home is a 160+ year old farmhouse with 2 dogs and 2 cats.We are a working Alpaca farm and we often come into the house from the barn with muck boots on tracking in all kinds of interesting stuff. I know that our house is a challenge to clean to say the least. but Michelle's Team never complains and when they leave the house is spotless.
If you want a professional cleaning company that takes pride in and stands behind their work to clean your home, I recommend Michelle Boyle's Green Genies.

Had the appointment for 8:30 am on January 21 and they showed up right on time. There were 4 ladies in the crew and they came in, introduced themselves, and began working immediately. The crew split with two going to clean the bathroom and two doing the kitchen. They brought all their equipment and supplies with them and I do not think they ever stopped cleaning until they were done. I know I would never have been able to get these areas as clean as they did and I am truly impressed. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Michelle made an initial visit to my house and we discussed what areas I needed cleaned and how often. Michelle is very personable and willing to customize her cleaning services depending on her clients circumstances. I now have one of her cleaning teams come once a month and they are very professional, efficient and cheerful. I also like the fact that only natural cleaning products are used. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Michelle and her 'Green Genies' to anyone needing an excellent cleaning service.
