TOLIMA'S AUTO CENTER

2003 Subaru Outback.  Shop is conveniently located next to long island city Subaru dealer but not affiliated with them.  Quote was reasonable considering extensive damage due to collision.  As always, there are some things insurance appraiser does not see.  Tolima's was good at identifying these items and getting insurance to cover them.  they advocated for new parts where appropriate and no parts where they were not needed.  while they were fixing the rear door/quarter panel, they repaired a small section of the body that had rusted out prior to the accident for free.  only negative was re-attaching a wheel well liner to the body -  They did not get approval for a whole new liner which would have included new mounting hardware.  So they had to fabricate a bracket and fastener to re-attach the existing liner but they did not do such a good job.  I had to buy some more nuts and bolts and do it myself because I did not have time or money to go back to them.

I had an appointment, but arrived early. My car is more then a couple years old so I knew already it had a couple of 'issues'. They did the oil change and checked the car out. We waited in the waiting room while the car was being worked on and it didnt take that long. Some of the repairs that was recommended were not done at the time, because I needed to use the car. Everyone there was very nice.
