I had City Proof (interior) windows installed in our bedrooms in 1989. At first I thought the cost was rather high, but it turned out to be the best money ever spent. The bedrooms over look 1st Ave and the noisse became unbearable when a bar that attracted a noisy, drunken crowd (and their motorcycles) opened up across the street. Now, our NYC apt is quieter than most suburban homes.
Every ten years, I have the windows cleaned and  serviced...CP's crew (who is very professional) cleans the panes and frames (not as easy as it sounds...they are very heavy to remove from the tracks) and applies silicon to the tracks to keep the windows sliding smoothly. Last time around, for a resonable price, they replaced the pull-handles.
City Proof knows how to deal with co-ops and condo's...they provide insurance certificates to the management without being asked, they are punctual, and they submit contracts with the final costs...no surprises.

Made an appointment to come and measure and then quoted once we determined which glass, etc.

Took about 4-5 weeks to manufacture, which was known upfront.

Made an appointment to install ... came on time and did a good job.

Window blinds taken down by the installers.  If you want them put back up you must advise before the windows are
manufactured as the brackets will probably no longer fit.

 Everything fitted as planned. Installers were polite and explained everything. Careful and competent, as expected. Would definitely use again if needed.

The entire job was very professional and the windows are beautiful. On our installation day, one window had an imperfection in the glass and Citiproof Windows immediately ordered a replacement window. They went one step further and kindly held the new replacement window in storage for 4 months while we completed an extensive mold remediation cleanup and repair/rebuilding job in our home (due to the unrelated shoddy workmanship of an outside contractor.) My husband and I are extremely pleased with our Citiproof Windows and highly recommend this company.

They were good but expensive.

The company president came to measure my windows and give me a quote. I have two differently shaped windows which were then custom ordered once I signed a contract and put down a deposit. It took about five weeks for my windows to be made, but as soon as they were done I was able to schedule an installation for the next day. Three men were sent to install my windows, making sure that they lined up with existing windows and opened and closed properly. They showed me how to clean the windows and made very little mess in the apartment (a smudge or two on the walls). In about an hour they were done. I chose the higher soundproofing option and am glad that I did. While we still hear the occasional truck, bus or emergency vehicle, it seems so much farther away. Even though $1,000 per window may seem like a lot, a good night's sleep makes it worthwhile!

THE MEN THAT DID THE WORK ON MY WINDOWS WERE VERY GOOD. THEY ALWAYS SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND STAYED UNTIL THE WORK WAS FINISHED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WINDOW COMPANY.

THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. I WAS ABLE TO GET HOLD OF THEM RIGHT AWAY. THEY CAME ON TIME AND GOT IT DONE ON TIME. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY RESPECTFUL OF OUR HOME. THEY MEASURED EVERYTHING ACCURATELY AND CLEANED UP ANY MESSES THAT THEY MADE. THEY GOT THE JOB FINISHED ON TIME. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OUR FRIENDS.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT IN THEIR WORK. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THEIR PRICES WERE AVERAGE. THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO QUIET THE APARTMENT. THEY DID A GOOD JOB WITH THE ENTIRE PROJECT.
