They fixed a clogged sink/disposal along with a few other plumbing issues. They were very professional and extremely courteous. Like having a family member in the plumbing business!

After rebuilding after superstorm Sandy, needed to relocate washer and dryer to new location. First I had to see if they even worked. McAvoy plumbing came in, hooked up and checked that applicances were still working, installed a vent (through crawl space to outside vent) for the dryer and stacked dryer on top of washer. Came on time and made sure everything was completed correctly and in working order before they left.

McAvoy Plumbing were great. My experience was excellent. They were neat, they were on time, they did a great job, and they came when they said they were going to come.

They did an awesome job. Kevin McAvoy is the owner of this company. They are an absolute five star and the best.Price wise they came in $300 cheaper than everybody. I will use them in the future.

I had water leaking from the base of my toilet. It was a sort of slow leak, but it was making me nervous. Initially over the phone they said they could come in three days, but when I said I was available any time and particularly keen for a faster visit, they put me on that day's schedule. When Jason finally arrived, there was about a 2 hour delay from the original rough timeline I'd been given, but to be fair, it was always a rough timeline. Jason took a look at the situation, agreed that the leak was coming from the base, and estimated approximately $250 to take off the bowl, replace the ring, add a layer of plaster that hadn't been used before, and put the bowl back on. This took a little over an hour, as estimated, and in the end the company agreed to only charge $225 because I was a first time customer. So far it's only been 24 hours, but looks like everything is all set. I'm pleased and would use this company again.

They are knowledgeable and prompt. They are reasonably priced but I haven't shopped around. I'm very happy with them. I have used them for years and they are my plumber; it's an old house so they know when to get in and walk-in. I will continue using them.
