Paul was recommended by a good friend. He provided us with a thorough explanation as to what was needed prior to starting the electrical work. Paul and his crew fulfilled every homeowners wish! They arrived on time They stuck to the schedule and completed the work within the time frame stipulated. The work was done efficiently and well. Paul made a recommendation that increased the cost, but was needed and the results were well worth it. We will definitely use Paul and his crew for ALL future electrical problems. His rates were very reasonable too!

Paul the owner was punctual and very professional. He arrived on time and explained to me exactly what he was going to do based on the contract.  He was very prepared as he had all of the necessary equipment to complete the job.  We had an unexpected event as Paul noticed that the neutral wire had snapped/burnt out from the pole.  He instructed me to call PSE&G and told me exactly what to say to them to get a quick response.   PSE&G showed up within the hour and the new line was replaced.  His two workers inspected faulty switches and helped label the outlets on the panel.  Overall All Good Electrical Corp. did a fantastic job!  We highly recommend them and will use them again on future projects.

This was a simple single fixture replacement.  First visit they replaced one part, light did not work and they  had to schedule a second visit to replace another component. Second visit cost 2x the first.   Light failed several months later.  Would not return multiple phone calls over several weeks.  Visited shop and was told we were on a list to be called back and they would contact us shortly.  Was told during visit 1 year warranty on their contract would probably not apply because of Hurricane Sandy even though fixture worked several months following the storm.  I said fine but still wanted service - haven't heard back from them in months.

I needed my furnace wired following system installation by my plumber. I met with 3 other electrians before choosing this company to do the work. Paul indicated he has a similar system and it would be no problem to wire. Jake did a fantastic job of connecting my unit and wireing the zones. The following day my plumber thought there may have been a slight wiring problem but there was no issue. Paul responded promptly to any calls I had. His admin person (Erica) was very helpful as well. I plan on using them for future work.

Before the project started,  I had checked with my local town building department what 'work permits' would be necessary for my kitchen renovation.  Based on the work i was doing, the building inspector informed me pulling an electrical permit and being inspected was not going to be necessary.
First, i was happy with the electrical skill the electrician exhibited while working on my kitchen.  My issue is with the process,
perceived deception by the company.
During the walk-through - the owner suggested i have the electric work inspected - more so for safety reasons - he made it sound reasonable so I agreed.   The inspection would be performed by an inspector from the township in which my local town rolls up to. He said the fee for the inspection would be $200-$30 tacked onto my invoice.
After the electrical wiring was installed, the electrical inspection was scheduled - but when that day came, the inspection was canceled.   Instead, the electrician from All Good took pictures of the wiring using his smart phone.  He said the pictures would be sent to the inspector who can tell by the pictures - He then affixed a yellow sticker to my kitchen window indicating the inspection.
Also, while making a hole for high hats, the electrician's hammer broke through to the other side and damaged a finished wall on the other side of where the electrician was working...  making two holes the size of a half dollar.   This caused me a day of spackling and painting an entire hallway which was not planned - Not to mention the money i spent on new paint.  (the hallway was last painted 6 years ago and i did not have touch up paint).
during the billing process, i had to remind All Good 3 times to apply the advertised "angies" discount.
Also, i asked if they had any process to review or compensate for the wall they damaged.  - they totally blew that off and avoided responding to me about this.... not even a "we're sorry about that" - lastly and finally, I asked why i had to pay for the inspection if the inspector never really came out to my home... i didn't consider that a valid inspection - They told me they have a very long standing relationship with the electrical inspection agency- that is why the pictures were sufficient for the rough inspection.  They said he will be visiting my home to do a final inspection once they let them know the work was completed 100%.    Well the work was complete for over a month and i never heard again from All Good.   To add, this was not what the electrician told me when he was taking pictures.
On Dec 5th -  the work was complete - i wrote and asked for some follow up - I never received a response from All Good.
I gave it a month - it was holiday season - so i waited then called and wrote them again on the 29th of December -
asking when will the inspection be taking place - I still didn't hear back from All Good.  On January 8th i sent a final email letting them know i was no longer waiting for them - i was considering the business with them closed.   Actually, my last business is writing this review.
In summary -  they weren't cheap - I expected more for the money i paid them.
They presented themselves as professional - The electrician who was coming to my home was skilled - the damage to the wall was an accident - I don't blame him - mistakes happen with everything but the company had no interest in discussing this with me which was not professional of them.   They did almost all of what they promised except for the inspection which I paid for and they did not deliver on.   For what i paid, they really didn't need the extra $200/$300 they charged for the inspection.

Allgood did work for me about 6 years ago and they charged a reasonable fee and the quality was excellent.  I was having difficulty getting an appointment with an electrician because of high demand due to Sandy (I live in Long Beach, NY).  I ran into Paul (who I did know prior to this) at the bank wearing an Allgood Electric shirt.  I told him my dilemma and he apologized for the delay.  He approached me later and told me to call his office and they would squeeze me in.  As good as is word, I called and a nice young lady scheduled me for the following Saturday.  Paul showed up on time and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.  I highly recommend Paul.  He is a great electrician, honest, and is a good guy.

I  was having repairs done to my mother's house before putting it on the market. It is an old house (1928.)  The fellow fixed what I had originally asked him to, but was dubious about doing additional work, saying the older guy in their outfit might be familiar with the old wiring, but he wasn't. They weren't cheap, but they were reliable, on time, and competent.

Work was done in 1 day, removed the old 100 AMP panel and upgrade to new 200 AMPs with grounding wire outside.  Included 2 out door electric outlets to side walls for outdoor electric tools.  They came at 8AM and finished at 7PM.

Response from All Good Electric Corp.

"This comment is not only unwarranted, but discourteous and offensive. We have been nothing less than stellar in our experience with this customer. We met with the member (the member's husband), during his lunch hour per their request, on time to discuss the plans for the new home (the original home had been a complete demolition). We were given a set of architectural plans but no electrical plans and were asked to formulate an electrical lay out accordingly. We provided an 8 page detailed and itemized quote within 4 days of the initial meeting using our knowledge and experiences from past projects of this magnitude. We emailed the quote and followed up with a phone call confirming the receipt of the quote and let us know once the client had reviewed it so any questions, changes or concerns could be discussed. Which the member replied "Our quote was very detailed and they needed time to review it and would get back to us to discuss it." We did not receive any return phone call but did however to our surprise see this distasteful comment posted on Angie's List. What this customer calls "a small residential home" is actually a 3,600 sq. ft., 3 story, 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom, library/study, high end kitchen, sitting room, living room, family room, dining room with a grand foyer, basement, and a 200 amp service with subpanel home being built from the ground up. We did not quote an "electric code nothing special" home. With approximately 50-75 homes of this size wired by All Good Electric, we have the knowledge and experience to know what goes into a house of the stature and included all the bells and whistles a home of this stature would command. It is unfortunate someone would feel the need to write a negative comment without contacting our office, without discussing the estimate, without discussing the scope of work and what the client themselves is envisioning and just blatantly berating All Good Electric, when all we did was provide an initial, very detailed, reasonable quote of $31,350 to wire a 3,600 square foot home from the ground up. Our experience with Angie's List is these are educated homeowners that are not looking for the cut-rate, under-budget price but a competitive, competent and responsible contractor. We hold these customers in the highest regard and strive to keep the experience a positive one."

They just came today to put together a free estimate for the services that we need.  They were very prompt, very courteous and I will wait and see what they come up with.  They were here the same day I called.  They were here when they said they were coming.  They were very professional.
