Ultimately, my cat (Blake) died, so not well. My cat had been vomiting for about a week, so I took him to see Dr. Donner for an exam on 8/26/2020. Blake was examined, weighed and given his rabies vaccine and a feline FVRCP one year injection (cost of visit was $88). Blake was scheduled for a dental, and prior to the dental, bloodwork was going to be done. The evening of 8/28/2020 (Friday) Blake vomited large clots of blood. I scooped everything up with a clean, white paper towel and put it in a zip lock bag to take to the doctor. On Saturday 8/29/2020 two x-rays were done, an injection .50 Cerenia 10mg per ml was given and Blake was sent home with 25 Famotidine Tabs 20mg and 25 Sucralfate Tabs 1GM (cost of visit was $195.00). Needless to say, the dental was not done as scheduled on 9/3/2020 and understandably so given Blake’s condition. The bloodwork was done and Cerenia 10mg per ml was given and 1.50 Drontal Feline (? not sure what this is) (cost was $161.20). The vet kept Blake there. Later in the day on 9/3/2020, I received a call to pick Blake up. I was upset. He was going to be sent home with more meds, which we had a very difficult time giving despite trying pill pockets and a pill gun. The receptionist told me I owed another $62.00 when I got there. Then, I got upset again and said, “For what. What has been done?” I called another vet while on my way to pick up Blake. She said to bring Blake right on over when I explained what was going on and what had been done. I requested his records from Dr. Donner and took Blake straight to the other vet. When I called to have another pet of mine that Dr. Donner sees to have her meds refilled, I received a call from the office manager on 9/16/2020 telling me that I had insulted the doctor and they were packing up my vet records they were going to mail them to me. So, would I recommend him? Absolutely not!!!!! Nothing got resolved and Blake is gone. The second opinion vet did not do exploratory surgery on Blake due to the condition he was in, kept him for two nights, treated him for h.pylori and cost was $140.00. Rest In Peace Blake. On a positive note, I want to thank all of the kind, compassionate vet techs who helped me with Blake’s meds on a few occasions. I especially want to thank the lead tech Corrinne Yoder.

Not good at all. I had the same type of experience with this clinic with my cat in March and that did not go well either. Will never go back and will dicourage other from doing this.

Our Norman(dogs name) is doing great after seeing Dr Donner. He will weigh him (91.8 lbs) and check him over (teeth, ears,
feet ). Dr. Donner has done surgery three times on Norman (Tumors) and we have had no problems. Dr. Donner is very reasonable in his pricing and he cares about the animals. My dog loves him. We have always seen the younger Dr.Donner and only his father (Dr, Donner) a few times and we have no complaints. We have been with Dr. Donner for over six years and now my sons take their animals to him. The staff is great, friendly. Our Chocolate Lab is only four years old and we plan on staying with
Dr. Donner. I need to thank our dogs breeder for sending us to Dr.Donner. Their office will send us reminders, when his shots are due, they even call up after surgery and ask how our dog is doing.
We give Dr. Donner, and his staff an A plus.

Have been going there for some years now and they're wonderful!!! They take the time to talk to you about your concerns and they don't nickel and dime you for every little thing. Our experiences have always been nothing short of pleasant. They don't hound you about your other animals needing to come in for shots like some of the other Vets I've dealt with. They even cut you a brake every now and again when you have multiple pets and rescues as we do. Out of five stars I give them a 10! Doctor Donner is a great Doctor.

First occasion- brought in my dog to be put to sleep as he was old and failing fast. Dr. Donner asked if we wanted to be with him as he did it and we said yes, having done this before. After three attempts at getting a shunt into his foreleg by a tech, doctor put it in. Dog was now bleeding..injected ..dogs heart was still beating..injected again with more meds.. still beating. I asked for him to stop. I was upset and not very sure we were doing the right thing. My daughter and husband stepped out for air and I followed them to sit down and collect myself. I looked up in time to see Dr Donner give my dog a heart stick, ending his life. I was horrified. He did apologize, saying it usually goes much easier- my dog had a huge heart and he had never seen anything like that . He and quot;gave him enough meds for a dog three times his sizeand quot;. Two weeks later I brought Max's daughter in to have a lump on her chest checked, as she had had mammary cancer years before. Dr. Donner did not see what I was talking about, so I said, give me your hand and I will show you where it is. I did, and he said he didn't think it was serious, but we should probably have it removed. I asked him about a large and quot;moleand quot; on her foreleg, and he said he would do that one too, and and quot; would not charge me and quot; because he felt bad about the last time we were in. I made the appt. I dropped her off for surgery and was told to call later in the day. When I called the older vet got on the phone and told me everything was fine and I could pick her up later. When I got there and she came back she was still very groggy, leaning up against the desk. Dr Donner came out with her. She had stitches in her side( rib age area), NO where near where the lump was, between her front legs near her chest! I didn't question them there, just wanted to get her home. When I got home, I realized they never gave her anything for pain. She whined all night. Next day I went first thing to pick up meds. Asked to speak to doctor- out of town for a conference ( over a weekend?) - told the girls to have him call me. He did not. I brought her in to see him that Monday at the end of the day. As soon I was brought back, I was verbally ATTACKED withand quot; what is your problem this time? Every time you come in here, you have a problem( really?, don't most people?) I said and quot; why are you yelling at me? I just want to talk to you. I don't understand why the lump is still there and she has stitches in her side?and quot; He said, as he groped her all over, and quot; what lump? What lump? I don't feel any lump!and quot; I said calmly as possible, give me your hand again and I will show you- see... Right there? That's the lump I wanted removed (because I was afraid she could have cancer again.) He saidand quot;YOU WANTED TWO LUMPS REMOVED AND I TOOK TWO LUMPS!! AND I DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE YOU FOR THE ONE LUMP!and quot; I saidand quot; you didn't charge me because you said you felt bad about Max, and I told you I appreciated itand quot;. He saidand quot; MAX? I DONT FEEL BAD ABOUT MAX! YOU PEOPLE MADE IT SO MUCH WORSE BY BEING IN THERE WITH HIM! YOU NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THERE! You know what? I HATE PEOPLE LIKE YOU, YOU WORK FOR A SURGEON AND YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING.THIS IS MY OFFICE, THIS IS NOT YOUR OFFICE. I AM DONE WITH YOU!! He walks out of the room and slams the door, leaving me standing there with my dog, with stitches in her side for no reason and her foreleg bandaged.AND she could still have cancer- I still didn't know! He is arrogant, and defensive. He lacks compassion for people and for their relationship with their pets. He is very threatened by anyone who may know something, and may challenge him or question him. His staff stood there and heard his entire tirade. They never said a thing. O In conclusion, he not only was verbally abusive to me, in front of his staff, but he abandoned Abby in the middle of treatment. And I found.out, when my records were transferred, that the and quot;two lumps and quot; were never even sent out for a biopsy!

It went well as it always does. This is the 3rd time I've taken him back for ear issues and the dr. gave me something to use at home as he said this is starting to get expensive. (for me) They always document everything that happens, ask what questions you might have, etc. It's obvious they love what they do and it shows, the cost is very reasonable as well.

It went very well with the staff having great empathy for the animals they treat, the fees were less than I anticipated as well-I highly recommend!
