We had a tear off of a 30+ year old pressure treated deck and replaced it with Fiberon decking. Tim Dorner was exactly what you hope for when looking for a contractor. He helped us find just the right product we needed, he was professional, timely and has excellent communication with his customers. That leadership is also reflected in Tim’s crew. Tim returned my call for an estimate within a day . When he came to my house we went over the scope of the job .After picking out materials and colors he explained the scope of job in detail to my wife and i he made several helpful suggestions. His crew showed up to install the new deck on time, took time to answer my questions and after completion (which came out awesome) they cleaned up my yard it was as if nobody worked there. We reached out to Dorner Decking for a second deck that we had built. He and his crew had built the first one that attached to our pool and we were very pleased how it turned out. We wanted to build another off of our second floor overlooking the backyard. It wasn't even a question on who we were going to contact. I don't even know where to start. Not only did they get us on their schedule early so that we could enjoy our deck for the 4th of July, Tim was the epitome of professionalism from day 1. He came over and listened to our thoughts and provided us with options and what he thought in his professional opinion would be good. He is very patient and professional. When they started working, we had one design that was agreed to. Once he came over, he gave us another option that actually SAVED US MONEY but did not remove the space we wanted. Tim and his guys were very professional through the entire process. the guys treated my property as if it were their own and that was something Tim said he insists on...well they do it!!!! My deck is absolutely amazing and there was a small unexpected surprise that gave it the Dorner touch. Tim and his crew were excellent and completed the work on time and did a great job. Tim takes pride in his work and is on site for all parts of the job. The debri removal was excellent and no trash or nails were left behind. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. The price was a bit high compared to competitors but the personalized attention, expertise, experience, and dedication to the work was worth the cost.

Great!!! I was very happy with my choice to go with Dorner, they were great explaining each step of the process, handled the permit, great dealing with inquisitive onlookers, terrific cleaning up afterwards, and fabulous with follow up questions after the job was done! They were very committed and caring, we weren't just 'a job'

We couldn't be happier with the results. We met with Tim in the Spring of 2015 to hear his ideas and get a quote. We had contacted Tim based on his stellar reviews. We exchanged ideas and waited for the drawings and cost. He promised that the quote given would be the cost with no surprises. Tim was not the lowest bid but I liked his honesty and the pictures of his work were impressive.
He gave us a starting date and actually showed up on the day promised to begin work. The crew was diligent in their work while maintaining respect for the property.
Tim is an easy man to talk to and gave us an update when asked. He or his crew answered every question we had. 
The job was completed last summer, but I waited to review to see how the deck held up. There were a few unexpected ocurrences (board shrinking) and adjustments needed. No problem. Tim showed up to make the adjustments. We are thrilled with the results. He is a stickler for detail and proud of his work. I would recommend him to everyone. A real professional and a nice guy.

From the time Tim entered our home within 5 min. my wife and I both knew that he was probably the one we were going to have to do our deck,and are we glad we did.Everything about Tim and his crew,James and Shawn,is professional.Tim spelled everything out in the contract and the finished product was better that what we had imagined.I would tell anyone who needs work done to at least have Tim give you an estimate.I would give the crew an AA+ rating.

2nd time, return customers with Dorner Decking.  My wife and I were happy to bring back Tim and his crew for a new project on the other side of the house this time.  With the work now completed, we see that Tim and his team have perfected their art even more than before.  Top notch quality, I fear this deck will outlast our house.  Massive 6x6" posts were used to support the structure.  Amherst inspector expressed he was routinely impressed by the quality of work he puts out.  Very professional team, they are quick to address any problems or issues discovered along the way.
Work was completed very quickly, we can't wait to stain the final product and invite everyone to see!  We're planning on bringing Tim back for another project to build a pier over our small pond in the back yard but we will have to wait to find out to see what Amherst will allow.
