On May 19, 2015, my wife Vanessa and I responded to an Ad posted on craigslist for a house for rent by Elliot Schneider. We Moved in June 1, 2015. The house is in need of repairs and is technically uninhabitable as per inspection standards. We agreed to rent the house on the premise that the repairs would be addressed in a timely fashion and that the house would be cleaned out prior to our occupancy. Unfortunately Elliot has promised everything and gave us nothing. We have spent countless hours and money out of pocket to clean the house and remove broken furniture. I have carefully packed all personal belongs in boxes and have given them to Elliot only to find out later that he has kept a lot of the items for himself and or has thrown the remainder of them in the back of his van. Elliot Schneider is a disgusting individual, the description slimy is too good too describe this Con, Artist, thief who swindled us into renting a house that he did not have permission to rent. He conned the owner promising to do repairs and he illegally rented to us. Last night he had the nerve to text my husband begging for him to retract his review. If he agreed, Elliot would pay us what he owes and not take him to court. Too late!! you had no respect for our family, the owner and showed no care our dignity for the sanctity of the for the Kabak household. You stole property and destroyed the pipes for heating as you probably sold them for scrap.. You Low Life con man!! PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS IS A SCAM!!!
