Modern Home, just finished remodeling our master bathroom. Vince and his team were great to work with. Everyone was courteous, friendly, taken time for exact detail to what they were working on. . We are beyond pleased with the outcome and would hire them again.

I hired Modern Home Contractors to update my kitchen and I'm so glad I did. Vince was very responsive from my initial call to the completion of the project. He patiently guided me through the process and answered any of my questions along the way. His team was punctual, experienced and very thorough. Thanks to Vince, John and the entire team, I am very happy with the end result. I would hire MHC again without hesitation.

Vince and his crew are fantastic. Prior to beginning the project, he gave us some ideas on how to better use the space to be remodeled. Suggestions included lighting, electrical outlets, and heating and cooling types and locations. We were briefed daily on what was accomplished and what was planned for the following day. During casual conversation, Vince saw that I am a Military Veteran and he gave us really great discount on the entire cost of the project.

We have had several projects done at our home, both inside and out. Vince and his crew are excellent. Always polite, neat, and treat every project as if they were working on their own home. We are working on a list for them for this year!

We tried for a year and a half to find a good contractor for our addition, with no luck, until a friend recommended Modern Home Contractors. Vince quickly gave us an estimate, and got the project started when he said they would, and stayed with it until it was done. Because it was an addition, we had architect's plans to get the permit, but wish we had talked to Vince before we had the plans completed - he had a lot of suggestions on how to do things better, and actually went and met with the architect to get some changes approved. We're very happy with the new screen room and the refurbishing of our deck, and would happily recommend MHC for residential renovations and remodeling.

We purchased a condo and decided to do an entire renovation. The main floor had two bedrooms and two full baths, living, dining and kitchen The unfinished basement now has two bedrooms, a bath and half bath, play area for the grandkids and sitting area with TV and surround sound. This was all made possible by using Mondern Home Contractors. They did an amazing job and turned our plans into a beautiful and comfortable new home. We couldn't be happier with the results and the entire process was painless. We had used Modern Home Contractors about 10 years ago for a new kitchen in our prior home so didn't think twice about calling them again for this renovation. Vince and his crew worked along with us reviewing plans throughout the process to make sure we were all on the same page. They were wonderful to work with - professional, skilled and hard working. We would highly recommend them for any job whether it is one room or an entire home renovation!

Modern Home Contractors is our first choice for all of our home remodeling projects - big and small. Most recently Vince and his crew (nice people!) completed a covered outdoor addition to our home, it's lovely. They are responsive and creative - always available to address any questions/ideas/concerns that you may have regarding your project - and get the job done quickly with excellent workmanship. Don't hesitate to give them a chance to impress you also.

We love our new bathroom with our walk in shower! Vince and crew were Fair and Honest. Remodel was completed quickly and quality was excellent. My 87 year old mother “loves” her new bathroom! Will hire them for all future projects!

Modern Home Contractors took my rough ideas, and transformed them into a finished project that far exceeded what I had in mind. Vince made the process easy. There were a few issues during the process due to the age of the home. He presented multiple solutions and estimates, and allowed me to choose the option best for me. Everything from layout to architectural enhancements as well as supplier availability was considered and discussed at length. At every step of the process, Vince was immediately available to provide answers and guidance. Vince and his team was superb. They were very friendly, showed up on time, completed the work with great attention to detail, and looked for my approval during the process. They were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and with an older home, they worked out everything that came up once they got into the remodeling. They knew what I wanted just by me telling them what I was looking to do. I am so happy with all the work they did and will call them for everything and anything I need done in the future.

Vince’s team was fantastic start to finish. They worked fast, clean, and found work arounds for every little thing that came up in our older kitchen. We’re extremely happy with the work!

Not only fabulous work but great people. I felt like we were working as a team to get the best value fort the price. They came when they said they would and we're always in time. Nelson led our crews and he was great asking with the rest of the people. They knew when to guide is with their expertise to make the best ended result.

I have had Modern Home come in for two separate projects about 4 years apart: a demolition and rebuild of a 3-seasons room and a remodel of a living room. Vince is more responsive than the dozen or so contractors I have tried to contact in getting these projects done. He let me know my options, but was respectful to my choices. For example, I opted to do the painting myself on both projects to save myself money and Vince respected that decision and worked with me on the timing. In the 3-seasons room project they found an adjacent wall was rotting inside after they had begun demolition. They gave me option to pursue at that point. They let me choose whether to pursue this or not and that it would cost more because it was outside the original quote. I did not feel pressured to do this, but I was glad they brought this to my attention and did opt for them to rebuild that part of an adjacent wall. I have had no problems with the project they did 4 years ago and my new living room is looking good. They are the first people I will be calling for any future home projects.

The work was precise and cleaned up each night, worked through pandemic uncertainties and back order of supplies. Crew was on time and cleaned up each night.

Project went wonderfully, work was completed as scheduled, on time, and structure was matched to house like it always belonged.

We have hired Modern Home Contractors at least 4 times, being very pleased with their renovations at our home and most recently at our summer cottage. Vince is easy to work with, clear in the inventory, competent, professional, and friendly. He is very knowledgeable on all types of construction and meets his schedule. Besides the original agreed-upon renovations, he fixed a newly-discovered plumbing issue. Also we were very happy to see that his crew voluntarily fixed other, more minor, items such as attaching corners of some shelving. The next time we need a contractor, we'll be calling Vince.

Vince and his crew from MHC did a great job w/ our remodel. From the initial planning through completion, MHC took care of everything and gave us a very comfortable and functional additional living space over our garage whic we have now been using for over 2 years. Any minor issues were quickly attended to and taken care of. In addition, MHC turned out to give us the best price... We secured 4 total estimates for the project and MHC's cost was nearly half of what 2 other companies proposed. We would not hestitate to use MHC again.

These guys are a Godsend. They removed a boring old window I had and replaced it with a beautiful french style patio door, which was a major home improvement. Best decision made. Thanks guys you did an awesome job!! (I’ve included before/after photos, obviously the one with the sliding door is After).

Vince and his crew showed up when they said they would. Everyone was very professional. Work was done as promised. Small change was needed but no work was done until discussed and agreed upon. I will be hiring Modern Home Contractors for future work and will recommend them to others.

I am taking this thief to court! My contract states #1 quality wood for my deck, found a sticker that says B-, this is not construction quality wood He sent me a text saying “all work completed” which should have included replacing flashing- in the contract. I looked on the roof and saw caulk squirted all over old flashing Completely screwed up siding beyond words, doors are crooked

We hired Vince to work on a number of things. These included bathroom tare down and remodel, basement laundry room finishing, adding brand new engineered hardwood flooring to two rooms, and paint and refinish a single bedroom. We came to Vince with an idea of what we wanted done and he was able to take that and tell us everything that he could do to make that happen. He was also able to provide additional input to make the job cheaper or give us better ideas than our own. Also, one time, while we were shopping for bathroom materials at Best Tile, Vince actually came down to meet us to help us pick materials that went well together! His input was VERY valuable since we really had no idea what looked good together. His many years of experience remodeling bathroom really means that he has a pretty good eye with what goes well together. The job ended up taking close to a month in the end and the end result was excellent, although, we didn't go with the fanciest tiles or material. I will definitely use him again as long as he keeps his prices fair.

Vince and his crew was amazing. Price was very reasonable. We were very satisfied with the work that was done. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. The project was also completed in a timely manner on date given. Great Job Guys!?
