I have used this shop for a few years having regular maintenance and some repairs. I have been very pleased with the service. I always feel car repairs in general are overpriced, but their prices are comparable to other shops. The main thing is I feel they are honest and will not recommend unnecessary repairs. I would recommend them!

Very easy to get a convenient appointment. Roberta keeps you apprised of the status of your vehicle throughout the day. I like that services are broken down into and quot;must havesand quot; and and quot;optionaland quot; (i.e. marker lights vs cabin air filter) before they proceed with your repair. Everything is done when they say it will be done, and the complimentary car wash at the end of your service day is always nice! They are more expensive than my old mechanic, but a lot more reliable!

It was a great experience. Roberta and her husband took care of the issue. In my opinion the price was fair and the service was quick and professional. They also did an oil change.

My vehicle had locking lug nuts on the wheels and I told the office manager over the phone that I wanted to have them replaced with regular lug nuts because I no longer had the lug wrench adapter for them. She said it would be no problem. When I brought the vehicle in and they started working on it, she asked me for the lug nut key and seemed surprised when I told her again that I didn't have it. She said it would then take longer to remove them (I was surprised they don't have that type of adapter in their shop) but did not tell me it was going to cost so much.
Another problem I've had with the business is that I've told the office manager several times that the address she recorded for me is incorrect. Each time she said she would fix it, but to date it is still incorrect. I don't know why she keeps saying she will fix it but never does. I don't have a lot of confidence in that place and have not decided if I will go back.

I would defiantly use them again.

They took me to the cleaners. They said they found a noise and said I needed an alignment. They were never able to solve the problem with what was wrong with my car. I had to have it towed to another shop to have it fixed properly.

My overall experience was excellent. The pricing was on par with what it should be. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

I called for an appointment on Tuesday afternoon and was in on Thursday morning. I have more mechanical work to be done, but I think that an oil change and compartment filter replacement for $105. is quite expensive. I will check some other shops that have had good reviews for estimates.

Found First Automotive off of Angie's List because of glowing reviews and b/c my regular auto shop (Dunn Tire) did not specialize in A/C. Called a week before to inquire about services and spoke with Roberta. She was very upbeat, friendly and thorough in her explanation of their A/C diagnostic service. I was impressed with her knowledge and asked if she was a mechanic. Her reply, "No, I'm just the other half of one. My husbands the mechanic." I told her that I would check my schedule and call back later. Few days later, I called to schedule and spoke with a gentleman who was also nice and friendly. They were able to accommodate my schedule (Friday morning 9:30). I arrived early (9:15) and asked the woman at the counter if she was Roberta. She said, yes and asked if I was Cindy the one she talked with over the phone. I said yes. She told me at that time that I had also spoken to her husband, Mark, when I scheduled. So at that point, I knew that they were just nice folks. She asked if anyone referred me and I said no that I found them on Angie's list. She happily told me that so many people have found them off that list. She then asked if I would be waiting with the car, I told her yes. She then asked for my keys so they could proceed right away as I was filling out paperwork. I had my 4 year old son with me and prepared a bag of stuff (dvds. books) to keep him occupied since I knew that we'd be there for a while. Much to my amazement we were out the door by (10:56) and that also included waiting for the part (new A/C relay) to arrive. As Mark drove the car to the front and told me that they had washed the car for me and fixed the a/c, Roberta asked me which color Hot wheel my son would enjoy. She asked my son's name and then proceeded to call him to the window saying that she had a gift for him. You should have seen his eyes light up when he received his gift. She also complimented him on how well he behaved. As I went to my car, I found a thank you note and goodie bag with a magnet, pen, keychain and $5 off coupon. Wow! talk about PERSONALIZED customer service. My son was grinning with his hot wheel, I was grinning with my excellent service experience and of course my FIXED A/C!!! HIGHLY recommended!!!

I chose this auto repair shop because of the comments posted on Angie's List. They were also fairly convenient to get to. They gave me an estimate and although it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, they did the work in a timely manner and all issues were repaired. I had priced a new wiper motor on the internet and it was well over $300. They were able to adjust it and fix at no charge. They even picked me up when the car was done as I had no ride. All the work was done to my satisfaction and the car is running great. Caddy's are notorious money pits and mine is no exception. I feel that I have found an honest and reliable repair shop. I will use them again.

I called on Thursday for a quote and was very impressed by Roberta's friendliness and thoroughness. She took my information and called me back shortly with detailed information regarding the quote. They were able to get me in first thing on Friday and offered me a ride to work. Since I have a job that requires driving around town, they actually loaned me one of their own cars! Their invoice is very clearly broken down and easy to read. Their building is extremely clean and well kept and has a very charming mural painted along the outside. I was very impressed with First Automotive, and will definitely recommend them to friends!

They are easy to get into. They get my service done quickly. They are always friendly and professional. I was referred to them by my parents.

They have bent over backwards to accomodate me. I am handicap and they will come to my building to pick up my car. They have always gotten me right in. I can't say enough good stuff about them. They go above and beyond. I've never had to wait. They come right out and help me get inside if I am going to wait on them to fix the car. They do it very nicely. They don't make me feel odd. They noticed that my tires were low and they checked the pressure. It was low so they filled it for me. They had plates of cookies for their customers in the month of December. They are on a first name basis with everybody.

He is now my regular mechanic. I just love them. They are helpful. The pricing is good. If there is something I need to get done right away, he will look into that immediately. I had a light on my dashboard. If I had taken it to the dealer, it would have been covered free. He said that he could fix it and charge for it. However, he asked me to take it to the dealer which I did. I thought it was very nice of him trying to find a way for me to save money. I am originally from a small town and with him it seems like I am in a small town again. He charged me $24 for an oil change. I will use him in the future.

I got them from Angieslist and they had good ratings. Also I had used them before.

I recently moved to this area, used Angie's list to find a recommendation when I had a yellow dashboard light come on. I called First Automotive, was given an appt. for 3 hr. later. I am disabled and was assisted in and out. I was helped very professionally and politely . They did additional work upon request quickly and reasonably. I am glad I found this recommendation here, and will definitely patronize them from now on.

Lived near it for years and just recently had a problem with an older car's fuel system. Our usual mechanic was not up to the task and we needed to find a reputable shop that could change a fuel tank, fuel pump, and replace some gas lines. What a stroke of luck finding this shop so close to home! They helped us save money by helping us get the correct fuel pump on Ebay - now that's service! The fuel pump arrived on Friday and they did the repairs the following Monday. They also beefed up the fuel lines with non corrosive lines, so the winter salt would not rust them again. The job was completed just as promised without any surprises and the price was extremely reasonable. The shop is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are the only repair shop for our family now and we love spreading the nice word of mouth for them. Finding a good repair shop is some times hard and finding a great repair shop is some times just plain luck. We give them a 5 star rating.
