I did do my floors and I had DeRycke's Hardwood. They were very good by the way. They did an excellent job. It cost me 2700 and it is fine, it is a large house that we live at. They did a great job. Their customer service was good. They were very fast, very professional and adaptable because I had really serious time conscience, they were willing to be flexible. I definitely will use them again in the future.

Link was a pleasure to deal with in every way.  He returned my call promptly and was able to meet me at the job site at my convenience I had someone renting my home at the time and he was not uncomfortable with that.  He was honest about the price and how long the job would take.  He had a second person helping him. He put in full days was much as required. I even locked him out one day and he worked around my stupidity!! I had some deep scratches in a few spots that were removed flawlessly. One spot where tenants left dog water rotting the floor that he did his best to repair.  The dust like any wood floor job was a nightmare but there is no getting away from that.  He picked up after himself daily and was very protective of the job knowing that I was up to the house moving things into the garage.  I would recommend him by far he was very personable, reasonable and a hard worker. I did however find a few spots where the polyurethane was a bit globbed under the cabinets that maybe could have been smoothed out a bit better.  I did place a call to him at later date to have him recommend something to clean the floors with and he told me to use the new windex non ammonia vinegar product! its works great!  LInda Brown

We were not satisfied with them. I don't think they were experienced when it comes to refinished hardwood floor installations.

Hired him to redo floors in dining room and living room. Pricing was competitive however after we scheduled a date ( we were on a time crunch) he last minute tells me he can't finish in 3 days because of his daughter's birthday party. How do you forget this? Come to find out too the coat he needed to put down only takes a half hour. We had to live out of our house for an extra day because of his lack of appropriate scheduling. Then he left dust on all of my stairs, window sills etc. floors turned out decent but would not use his services again

They were great! Very accommodating of my schedule, reasonably priced, and excellent work. I've had several requests for their number from people who have seen my floors!

I had an all-around A+ experience with DeRycke's Hardwood Floors.
I started by contacting Link for an estimate based on the great reviews here.  He responded to my message within 24 hours and we were meeting at the house for the estimate less than an hour after that.  I got a good vibe from him right off the bat as he struck me as both very professional and very personable at the same time.  I had met with a couple other companies for estimates and it was clear that DeRycke's was the best choice for me.
We scheduled the work for the following week and they were there right on time and everything was done right on schedule.  I was literally amazed by the results, they were beyond my expectations to say the least.  They took the 64 year old beat up, faded floors and made them look brand new.  It really transformed the look of the interior of the house from looking old to looking really nice and much newer.  I never expected them to turn out that great, they even got out a couple of stains that I thought for sure would be permanent. 
I am very happy with my choice to use DeRycke's for this job.  They did great work at a great price and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Linc DeRyke and his helper were here right when they said they would be all 3 days.  After removing the carpet they reinforced the sub-floor to eliminate any squeaks.  The entire job, and clean-up, were done in the estimated time and the cost was exactly what he estimated.

The quality is fantastic, they did a great job. He went above and beyond. I received a couple estimates and we were on a tight schedule. He was great with working with us in getting the job done before we moved into the house. He was very professional, timely and responsive.

I have used them in the past. They do a great job and the work is always good. What is promised is delivered. They are always on time and do the job quickly.

Because of possible pending legal action, I will not describe the details of how horrendous this experience was. Suffice it to say, after examining the "completed" work, we refused to pay the balance due and retained an attorney. We also gathered very detailed statements from other professionals in the field who came to the premises and were shocked by what a dreadful and completely unacceptable job had been done. Unfortunately, the cost of sanding the floors back down to bare wood and redoing them - to achieve the results that were totally possible and could easily have been achieved for the price we had agreed to pay - would have ended up costing us 2 to 3 times as much as the original estimate, and we simply could not afford to pay that kind of money to clean up the horrible mess that had been made of the floors in our brand new home. So we settled for a half-way remedy, undertaken by another contractor at a very reasonable price, who did a marvelous job of rehabilitating the floors as much as was humanly possible, under the circumstances. The general consensus of all the professionals who saw the floors was that the inexcusably awful, sub-par, unprofessional job had actually REDUCED the resale value of our new home, not increased it. Adding insult to injury - literally - throughout the entire process, the owner was rude, disrespectful, unresponsive, and became aggressively confrontational when he  realized we were not about to hand him a check for the balance. All I can say is: DO NOT LET THIS MAN ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HARDWOOD FLOORS!!!

The contractor worked with our schedule, our closing was delayed 2 days and he worked with us to get the work done in time for us to move on time. This required working all weekend which he did. We moved on time. They ripped out our old carpet and replaced it with new oak flooring. We added another area which still got done on time. They refinished our existing floors to match the new work.The results exceeded our expectations. Would use them again.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Link responded quickly, was easy to set up an estimate visit with, reasonably priced, excellent communication, always punctual, and floors look fantastic. They were in pretty bad shape to start with, and I knew they would look better after refinishing but I was still amazed at the difference, and somehow it was all done without messing up my newly painted baseboards. Also managed to match stain on two different woods pretty closely. Will definitely use DeRycke's again.
In the past two months we've hired a total of 6 contractors for various tasks. This was far and away the best experience, and how I would hope all such interactions would go!

Linc was great! We lifted rugs that had been in the home for a very long time (probably 30 plus years!), and were very nervous about the condition of the floors underneath since we had just purchased the home, but was stunned with what Linc was able to do.  The floors came out amazing!  He and his partner finished everything in four days, were very professional, and were great to work with at a very reasonable price!

OK...fast forward...hardwoods are now refinished.  Overall, nice job on the floor.  Couple of minor issues with splashing of varnish on the base boards...but this can be easily repainted.
He replaced a couple of floor boards in the downstairs bathroom without removing base shoe molding which was nice.  Fixed some dings in the floors and board separation between kitchen and family room.

This whole process was amazing. The price was right, the people were professional and nice, and the rooms turned out better than we ever could have hoped for. Totally worth it and couldn't be happier!

Linc did an outstanding job from the time he responded to my inquiry, to the estimate, scheduling and finishing of the floors. He was professional, agreeable and very competent. He cleaned up the dust well, although you should plan on the time to clean walls and hardwood thoroughly after the floors are finished. The floors are beautiful. Great price for a great job done!

It went right on schedule.  Took 4 days.  Floor looks  new.  Would definitely call him again.

Overall it went very well.  He told me what needed to be done before he got there - when he would start and when it would be finished.  Went exactly as planned.
