He installed a bunch of lights for us, 9 new ceiling lights, am 100% satisfied and very happy with them

I called Marty after 8am Monday. He called me back in less than hour and said that he would be out to look at situation after another call. He was able to determine that a nearby outlet sparked. A wire in that outlet going to the other problem areas had come come loose. Marty replaced the outlet and took the wire going to other outlets as not needed. This way, if this same outlet malfunctioned in the future, it wouldn't cause other outlets to lose power. Marty explained everything to my wife and me. He was very professional.

It all went very well. He is extremely professional. Came in, checked out all issues, gave me an estimate of how much it would cost and then came back promptly the next day.
I want to add that before Angie's List, I had many problems with these fly by night contractors. Inferior work, not showing up,, etc. the list is endless. 
So, if you want quality work and especially if you live alone as I do, I suggest you call this company for any of your electrical issues.

I have been using Marty for the past 20 years when I originally bought my house. Marty is up to code and reasonably priced. I have always felt comfortable using Marty and I would highly recommend him. You won't feel like you are being taken advantage of. Marty has done jobs for me from fixing wiring in a shed to installing a generator hookup along with minor household fixtures.

A-1 Electric owner/ Electrician Martin Felicia schedules his work about 1 week out and he told me that up front. His work was thorough and his estimate to do the work was the amount he finally charged. No surprises. He was down to earth, congenial and efficient. His rate is competitive and the quality of his work excellent. He was the quickest to come out to give me a free estimate.
The ultimate litmus test:. My wife was skeptical that Martin's estimate might be a low ball, She saw his work and he did not talk down to her., She was impressed by his charging us what he quoted and so concluded that he's honest ethical, credible and capable. Oh by the way,, he's punctual too. So, let's hear it for Marty! It was a very positive service experience.

We hired Martin to install two bathroom exhaust fans in rooms that didn't have existing rooms. So not only was their electrical work to be done for installing the fan, but he also needed to place a vent on our house and run the duct lines to it. Climbing into the attic was no pleasant task, but Martin did the job for a very reasonable fee. He was prompt, professional and cleaned up after the job. The fan installs look great, as well as the exterior work for the vents. We'd definitely hire him again.

He showed up on time the day of the installation. He did a great job. An electrical problem caused by the sauna caused a short. Marty came back, tracked down and then fixed the problem. I highly recommend him.

marty found a loose white wire in the first outlet coming from the breaker even though it had power entering it but the white return was not connected so all the other outlets did not work.

I was amazed that I called in the morning and found someone to perform this service in the afternoon. Being Halloween, I was concerned when I discovered that my porch light was not working. Martin came and found that the sensor on the motion detector was kaput. I was home early with the flu, so he went and purchased a fixture. The price I am quoting includes a $47.00 fixture. I thought that was very fair. He could have insisted on a much bigger bill, since I was in a pickle. I will be forever grateful that I didn't have to sit out in my garage and hand out candy (plan B). I would not hesitate to call him again.

I called him. He came over and looked at what I needed done. He scheduled a time the next week. He did all the work he said he would do exactly like he said he would do it.
He was professional and very receptive to my questions. He was very knowledgeable about electrical work in the area and how things were originally installed.

Extremely well. He came on time. Did the installation which was messy because he had to crawl into the attic which had blown in insinlation in it, drill holes in the ceiling. He laid drop cloths where necessary and when he was finished, vacuumed and left the rooms clean.
