1st of the two requested projects estimated and completed: Price was certainly reasonable enough ( and there doesn't seem to be anyone else available in our vicinity to even offer a quote, this year).   After a few weeks of 'rain delays' on other jobs previously scheduled before ours apparently, We were duly impressed with their workmanship diligence and results.  We're confident of their professional construction skills to recommend them highly as such ... & if they're not already booked, of course.  However, though we were informed finish landscaping is also in their wheelhouse and some additional work we'd requested later, was to be estimated as a separate contract, response to our planting work request never materialized either.  Transplanting of existing plants around sidewalk steps (which were relocated a few feet further away from major tree roots) was expected (as at least verbally discussed part of the work performed) but the Foxglove tree sapling we'd asked them to save was left in the sun to dry up and die despite having been potted temporarily.  Ground-cover vines were simply buried under a few inches of build-up soil though all that was necessary was making sure as much of their stems remained above ground as possible.  (i.e.: an easy detail to tend with hearty plants that otherwise didn't need full up-rooting/re-planting.)  Instead we were left with an extra hour or two's remedial garden re-re-scaping work that would've taken the professionals no more than 20 mns.  ... before the plants were buried.  A relatively minor concern, granted, but of course we certainly were less than satisfied with having to 'straighten up' after yet another contractor, regardless of having been specific enough in negotiations.

As the owner has commented below, our phone service had become seriously malfunctioning--thanks to Time-Warner Cable { see the only current review from the c.NY region of Time-Warner's alleged tele-com.'service'  X)  For a period of about 3 weeks incoming calls were failing to either ring the phones or even connect, unbeknownst to ourselves over the 1st week+1/2 of the on-going, diminishing phone-service functionality!  We had an unusually difficult time contacting the company, not getting

response to our 1st two phone calls of April + May; however we eventually got a response to our 3rd call in June, within a day.  They'd been quite busy dodging down-pours apparently during our wash-out spring/early summer this last year.

We do appreciate 3-Rivers Landscape management's taking time to respond to our communications technical difficulties hereon + more to their professionalism credit.
Very nice, solid and intelligent construction work, thank you.
Response from 3 Rivers Landscape Design

"Hi [Member name removed]- I am sorry; I did not receive any message from you around the time of these comments. I did receive a call at the end of June and attempted to call back the same evening but the call would not go through. I called back the following day and set up an appointment to discuss the project with you later that week. I viewed the project and e mailed you product examples. I have not heard back from you. Hope to hear from you soon."

3 Rivers Landscaping does a good job and they work well. They don't goof around. They are very good at picking up after themselves. I will continue using them.

We talked on the phone. He gave me ideas. He has a nice eye for design. He has good suggestions for plants. He knows what colours I like. He did great. He cleaned up any mess he made. He took away everything in his truck. They blew the stuff off my walkway.
